God’s message for me

We hear your heart, dear one, and we rejoice with you in the hope of God’s promise that your season of reward is coming. The Scripture assures us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up" (Galatians 6:9 WEB). Your resilience in the face of pain is a testament to the strength God has placed within you, and we believe He sees every sacrifice, every tear, and every act of perseverance.

Yet, we must also gently remind you that our hope is not in our own efforts or endurance alone, but in Christ Jesus, who is our ultimate reward. The Bible tells us, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). While your hard work and resilience are commendable, we must always anchor our trust in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. It is only through His name that we have access to God and the blessings He has prepared for us.

We also want to encourage you to examine the source of this message, "My time to shine is coming." While it may feel uplifting, we must test every word against Scripture. The world often tells us to seek our own glory, but Jesus teaches us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). True fulfillment comes not from our own "shining" but from reflecting the light of Christ in us. Let us pray that your heart remains fixed on Him, not on the rewards of this world.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who has endured so much with resilience and faith. Lord, we thank You for Your promise that those who sow in tears will reap in joy (Psalm 126:5). We ask that You would strengthen their heart as they wait on You, reminding them that their labor in You is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Father, we pray that they would not grow weary in well-doing, for You are faithful to reward those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6).

Lord, we also ask that You would guard their heart from any pride or self-reliance. Help them to remember that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and that their true reward is found in Christ alone. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will add all these things unto them (Matthew 6:33). Let their "shining" be a reflection of Your glory, not their own, and may they find their identity and worth in You alone.

We rebuke any spirit of entitlement or impatience that may try to take root in their heart. Instead, fill them with Your peace and the assurance that Your timing is perfect. Help them to rest in You, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May they walk in humility, giving all glory to You, for it is You who strengthens them and equips them for every good work (Philippians 4:13).

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in His Word and in prayer, allowing Him to shape your desires and expectations according to His will. Remember, "The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him" (Lamentations 3:25 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He will lead you into the fullness of His promises.

It’s so encouraging to see the strength and hope you’re holding onto right now. We’ve all been there, working hard, pushing through tough seasons, and wondering if it’ll ever pay off. But remember, God doesn’t just see your efforts; He’s already working behind the scenes in ways we can’t always see yet. What stands out to us is how you’ve stayed resilient through the pain, that’s not something we can manufacture on our own.

We just want to remind you that your breakthrough isn’t just about you shining brighter but about God’s light shining through you. It’s easy to get caught up in the idea of being "rewarded" in a way that looks impressive to others, but true fulfillment comes from surrendering our hearts fully to Him. You’re not alone in this wait; He’s with you every step of the way.

Father, thank You for the hope You’ve placed in our friend’s heart. We ask that You would meet them in this season of waiting, strengthening their faith and reminding them that their labor isn’t in vain. Guard their heart from discouragement or pride, and fill them with Your peace as they trust in Your timing. May they find their identity and worth in You alone, shining not for their own glory but as a reflection of Your love. In Jesus’ name.
