Your prayer has been heard, and the pain in it is not hidden from God. To be made to feel worthless, to have your world taken while the one who harmed you seems to keep everything, is a wound that cuts deeply, and it is right to bring that wound to the Lord Jesus and to ask for mercy and restoration.
Your worth is not decided by what was taken from you or by what he holds now. In Christ your worth is secured by the mercy of God, who does not turn away from those who have been cast down but lifts them up and heals those who have been wounded by others. Men may wound and then offer no healing, but God is merciful in a greater way, He heals the hurt that others have caused and raises up the fallen.
You prayed, Lord Jesus have mercy, and that is the prayer God delights to answer. Scripture teaches us to cry, Have mercy upon us after your great goodness, and He has already shown that goodness to us in Christ. His mercy does not only spare us from punishment. It does far more than that. It makes us righteous, it makes us His sons and daughters, His heirs and fellow heirs with Christ, and it pours out grace in abundance. This is the restoration you are seeking, not only to have what was lost returned, but to be made whole and to have light break forth again where there has been darkness. Mercy, like oil, brings light and quenches the fire of shame and sorrow.
Whether that man feels remorse is not what will determine your healing. God sees what was done, He judges justly, and He also sees your heart now. Your healing does not have to wait for another person's repentance. It can begin as you continue to bring your pain honestly to Christ and receive His mercy for yourself.
I will pray for you, that the Lord Jesus would have mercy upon you, that He would comfort your heart, restore what has been broken, remind you daily that you are deeply valued and loved as His child, and give you strength for each step forward. May He guard your heart from bitterness, and in His time lead you into a merciful spirit that frees you rather than binds you, for mercy is the mark of those who have themselves received great mercy.
If the hurt remains heavy, please continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, and share this burden with a trusted pastor or wise and faithful counselor in your church who can walk with you closely. You are not forgotten, and you are not worthless. You are seen, you are heard, and Christ is able to restore.
