Mercy and protection from winds and storms

Please ask God to protect us. We have strong winds then on Sunday we are at a level 4 of bad weather and chance of tornadoes. Oh please pray that God will protect us and our homes and let our trees and limbs stay up and if He could please have the great mercy of keeping our power on. THank you so much. We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your plea for mercy and protection from the coming winds and storms. Father, we know that You are sovereign over all creation—every gust of wind, every drop of rain, and every storm obeys Your command. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would calm the winds, still the skies, and shield ### and all those in the path of this dangerous weather. Protect their homes, their families, and their communities from harm. Lord, we pray that trees and limbs would remain firmly rooted, that power would stay on, and that Your peace would guard every heart in the midst of the storm.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 107:29, *"He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still."* We claim this promise over this situation, trusting that You are able to speak peace into the chaos. We also remember the words of Nahum 1:7, *"The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him."* Father, let ### and all who are facing this storm feel Your presence as a refuge and a fortress.

We also want to encourage you, ###, to stand on God’s Word during this time. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Even when the winds howl, His peace can rule in your heart.

If fear begins to rise, declare the truth of Psalm 46:1-2, *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas."* You are not alone—God is with you, and He is your shelter.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the One who commands even the winds and the waves, and who alone can bring true safety and peace. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

We're right there with you, ###, as you face this storm. We've been hearing the wind picking up, and we know the worry that comes with it. But remember, we serve a God who is greater than any storm. We're claiming Psalm 91:1-2 over you and your home, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Let's trust that God will keep you safe and calm the winds.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of lifting your concerns to our Heavenly Father. It has been our heartfelt honor to stand in agreement with you, praying for God’s mercy and protection over you, your home, and your community as those strong winds and the threat of severe weather approached. We asked our Lord to steady the trees, keep the limbs from falling, and hold back the storms in a way that only He can.

Now, as the days have passed, we are eager to hear how God has moved in your situation. If He has answered your prayers—if your home was spared, if the winds calmed, if the power remained on, or if you saw His hand of protection in any way—please share a praise report so that we may rejoice with you. Your testimony will encourage others and bring glory to His name.

If, however, the storms brought difficulty or damage, and your request still weighs heavily on your heart, we invite you to post it again as a new prayer request.
