Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15, is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7...

Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online or in person dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we thank you for your persistence in prayer and for your desire to see God's will done and not your own.

We hear your heart for this sister to be restored and we agree that as members of one body we are to care for one another, for we are members of his body Eph 5:30 and as living stones we are built up as a spiritual house 1 Pet 2:5. Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another Prov 27:17 and the Lord has ordained that when a brother or sister is caught in sin, the church lovingly intervenes Matt 18:15-17 with shepherds who are to shepherd the flock of God not under compulsion but willingly 1 Pet 5:2. We pray with you that Holy Spirit filled believers will be moved to speak the truth in love, and that the Holy Spirit himself will convict of sin, of righteousness and of judgment John 16:8, for only He can bring true repentance.

We also must speak plainly about the sin that has been hinted at. You have asked for grace for her to confess adultery Ex 20:14 and to turn from both online and in person pathways that stir lust, for everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart Matt 5:28. Whether it is fornication before marriage or adultery within marriage, all sexual intimacy outside the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman is sin before God and must be confessed and forsaken. We affirm your desire to be hedged with thorns as in Hos 2:6-7, that the Lord would hedge up her way so she cannot pursue lovers and idols, not out of control but out of mercy, that she might come to her senses as the prodigal did when he came to himself and said I have sinned against heaven and before you Luke 15:17-19. True repentance unto life brings godly sorrow which we see in 2 Cor 7:9-11, a humility willing to take the place of a servant, and that is what we pray for.

We appreciate your holding onto Phil 1:6 that he who began a good work will perfect it, and Jer 29:11 that God desires to give a hope and a future. We agree that God's kindness is intended to lead us to repentance Rom 2:4 and that He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9, yet we also remember that there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul who does evil Rom 2:9. So we pray with urgency that the Lord would warn her and her family and her church, even using unexpected voices if need be as He once spoke through a donkey 2 Pet 2:16, and that pastors and friends would not fear man for the fear of man is a snare Prov 29:25, but would fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body Matt 10:28 and would tremble at His word Isa 66:2. As it was spoken to Eli 1 Sam 2:29-30 and fulfilled because he failed to restrain his sons 1 Sam 3:13-14, 1 Sam 4:17-18, so we ask the Lord to put a holy fear in shepherds to honor God above family or reputation and to speak.

We affirm your stand that you will not be unequally yoked 2 Cor 6:14, for what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness, and that you recognize you cannot plow with an ox and a donkey together Deut 22:10 nor walk together unless you are agreed Amos 3:3. Your desire for marriage is right and good, for marriage is the God ordained lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and any courtship must be with a fellow believer with marriage as the goal. You are right to say if God makes her holy you will not call her unclean Acts 10:15, for the blood of Jesus can cleanse all sin, and the testimony of Peter that God first opened the door to the Gentiles Acts 15:7 shows His mercy, yet that mercy is through true new birth and demonstrated repentance. We love your heart to show the compassion of the father who ran to his son Luke 15:20 and to demonstrate the perfect patience shown to us 1 Tim 1:15-16, but we counsel you to wait for clear fruit of repentance and for confirmation that she shares your calling as evangelist and missionary and supports that vision, rather than running from all counsel with backbone as has happened before. All Scripture is inspired and profitable 2 Tim 3:16, and we must let it guide us.

We pray that those who have said they are willing to bring the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God Heb 4:12 would not grow weary but would continue in prayer Luke 18:1 and finish the work they promised with love and zeal 2 Cor 8:11, not doing the work of the Lord negligently Jer 48:10. We ask that it be done gently but firmly because of the danger of sin, with the hope she will not forsake assembling together but will flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart 2 Tim 2:22, and that those who restore would do so in gentleness keeping watch over themselves lest they also be tempted Gal 6:1. We also pray that others would take warning so they may fear to sin 1 Tim 5:20 and that perchance God may grant her repentance to escape the snare of the devil having been taken captive to do his will 2 Tim 2:25-26.

We lift up together this prayer before the Father in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and it is through Him we have access John 14:6.

Father, we thank You for Your grace and for Your continued work. We ask You to hedge her way with thorns Hos 2:6 so she cannot find her lovers, grant her ever increasing clarity and wisdom James 1:5, fill us all with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding that we may walk worthily of You Col 1:9-10 and stand fully assured in all Your will Col 4:12. Cause our love to abound more and more in knowledge and discernment that we may approve the excellent things and be blameless without offense to the day of Christ filled with the fruits of righteousness Phil 1:9-11. Heal what is wounded and bruised Isa 1:6 and restore her as the Shepherd who makes us lie down in green pastures Ps 23:1-6. Grant the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom Prov 9:10 and to hate evil Prov 8:13, to have nothing to do with those having a form of godliness but denying its power 2 Tim 3:5 who profess to know God but deny Him by works Titus 1:16, and deliver her and us from evil men and impostors 2 Tim 3:13 and from the evil one himself Matt 6:13, John 17:15. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil Luke 11:4, cause us to stop sinning and to have knowledge of God 1 Cor 15:34 and to speak no lies Zeph 3:13. We thank You in advance believing You hear us Mark 11:24 and we trust what is next to Your sovereign mercy as David said who knows whether the Lord will be gracious 2 Sam 12:22. Let Your will be done in this life and in this situation, for Your glory, in Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear how long you have been carrying this and how much you want to see her turn toward the Lord and toward home. Loving someone while watching them pull away from wise counsel and make harmful choices is exhausting, and the waiting can feel lonely.

We are encouraged by the tenderness we hear in you, the willingness to show compassion if she truly turns around, and also the honesty that you cannot make that choice for her. That tension is real, and it is good that you are bringing it to God rather than trying to carry or control it yourself.

In this season it helps to have steady support for your own heart as well, not only intercession for her. If you have one or two pastors or mature believers who know you both, staying connected with them regularly for your own guidance and accountability can keep you from growing isolated while you wait and pray. It also gives you a safe place to process the hurt that betrayal brings, which often leaves a deep ache and questions that take time to work through.

We are praying for you, for her, and for the young one you mentioned, for protection, clarity and healing in the days ahead.

Father, we lift this family to You. Guard each heart from harm and confusion, give wisdom for each next step, and work in ways that lead toward truth and wholeness. Sustain our brother as he waits on You and keep him close to You. In Jesus name, amen.

Your earnest prayer has come before the Lord and it is good that you continue to cry unto Him, for we are bidden to pray without ceasing and not to faint. I hear in your words a desire not for your own will to be done, but for the will of God to be made clear and to be obeyed, and that is the right frame for any intercession.

You ask that the Lord would hedge up her way with thorns, as in Hosea, and that He would raise up voices to warn her. This is a prayer for mercy, not for judgment only. Yet remember that judgments alone do not produce true repentance. There is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh, wrought by fear or by trouble, and there is a repentance unto life which is the gift of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart. The one may cause a man to tremble, the other causes him to give God glory. Try your own prayers and hers also by this scale. Does the sorrow lead the soul to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, to abhor sin because it is sin against a loving Redeemer, and to turn from present sin because of love to Him who died. That repentance which ejects sin as an evil tenant and admits Christ to be sole Master of the heart, that repentance which pulls down and then builds up in living works, is saving repentance. It is practical, it yields works meet for repentance, and it lasts, for repentance lives as long as faith lives. Sweet sister Repentance is not a bitter act to be gotten through at the beginning and then dismissed, she remains charming company all the way to glory.

You speak rightly of the prodigal. The eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. The father saw the son while he was yet a great way off. There is comfort there, for the Lord sees and knows and His compassion runs to meet the returning sinner. But mark how the father restored. Those repeated kisses meant full restoration, yet they were given when the son was on his way home, confessing I have sinned against heaven and before thee. The son came with a humble heart willing to be as a hired servant, and the father by his kiss answered that sonship was restored. There is no restoration without that broken and contrite heart which God will not despise. If such a wretch as Manasseh, who did evil in the sight of the Lord for many years and filled Jerusalem with idols, could be brought to repentance when the iron entered into his soul in prison, then no case is hopeless. Almighty grace can do it. Yet Manasseh when truly converted sought to undo what he had done, and restitution must accompany profession or repentance is a sham.

Therefore pray not that God would bless what He has called sin. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all sexual union and all living together as married belongs within it. Adultery is forbidden by the commandment, and lust in the heart is adultery before God. To ask God to bless an adulterous path or an unequally yoked union would be to ask Him to contradict His own holiness. The Scripture you cite, that what God has cleansed we must not call unclean, speaks of persons cleansed by the blood of Christ, not of sin made clean. Sin remains sin until it is washed away in that blood, and the soul remains unclean until born again by the Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We must never put our repenting in the place of Christ. Repentance and faith are inseparable, the one purges dead works, the other fills the soul with living trust in the finished work of Christ.

You do well to desire the help of the Body of Christ, for the Lord has ordained that if a brother be overtaken in a fault, those who are spiritual should restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering themselves lest they also be tempted. The way of Matthew eighteen is not negligence but love that is gentle and firm, reverent toward God and toward His covenant, not fearing man whose fear is a snare, but fearing Him who can cast both soul and body into hell and trembling at His word. Let those who go do so with the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, preaching repentance and remission of sins in the name of Jesus, not on their own authority, but on the authority of the risen Head of the Church. Let it be done so that she is not driven from the assembly, but is led to flee youthful lusts and to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart, and so that others also may fear to sin.

For yourself, continue as you have begun, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, to walk worthy of the Lord. Stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, not seeking merely a sign for your own path, but holiness for all concerned. Pray to be delivered from temptation and from the evil one, and keep a watch over your own heart, lest in zeal you be tempted to impatience or to demand what only grace can give.

I will join you in this prayer, that the Lord would grant her not a transient sorrow but repentance unto life, that He would in mercy hedge her path so that she cannot overtake her lovers if she seeks them, but far more that He would change her heart so that she would not desire them, that He would grant clarity and wisdom, that He would deliver her and you and the little one from sin and lies and evil men and the snare of the devil, and that if she be truly brought to Christ, she may be restored as one who has been much forgiven and therefore loves much, to walk in newness of life. And if the Lord has another future, we leave it in His hands, knowing that He who began a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, and that He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, though He will by no means clear the guilty who persist in evil without repentance.

May the Lord keep you in perfect patience, kind as He is kind, waiting and witnessing, not calling clean what God has not cleansed, nor calling unclean whom God has cleansed by blood, but leaving vengeance and restoration to Him who judges righteously and loves prodigals with an everlasting love.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
