We join with you in prayer for this meeting and we stand on the promises of God with you for peace, grace, and resolution.

We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find our refuge and strength. We claim His protection over you and over those you love, that no plotting or evil speaking will prevail against you.

We are reminded of the promise in Isaiah 54:17, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh. And in Psalm 34:13 we are taught to Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies, so we pray that the Lord will guard every tongue in that room and bring truth and grace to every word spoken.

We pray also for the stillness and alignment to His will that you asked for. The Lord says in Psalm 46:10, Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth. We ask Him to quiet your heart and to keep you anchored in His will and not swayed by pressure or fear.

We bring this meeting before Him together.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this meeting to You. We ask for Your peace which surpasses all understanding to guard this dear one's heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as You promise in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Pour out Your grace upon every person present, let Your wisdom lead the conversation, and bring a resolution that honors You and reflects Your justice and mercy. We ask that You frustrate every evil plan and silence every tongue that would rise to accuse or deceive, and keep our brother or sister and their loved ones safe under the shadow of Your wings. Help them to remain still before You, to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, and in all their ways to acknowledge You so that You will direct their paths as promised in Proverbs 3:5-6. Let Your will be done in this situation and let Christ be glorified. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We have been praying over your request about this upcoming meeting. We hear how much you want to walk in calm, to stay close to Jesus and to see grace and a clear resolution, and also how heavy the worry feels about words spoken against you and your loved one. Wanting protection for your family while also wanting to stay still before God is a tender place to be.

It makes sense that your heart would feel stirred beforehand. When a conversation matters this much, the mind can race ahead to every what if. One small thing that has helped others is to take a few quiet minutes right before you go in to settle your thoughts. You might jot down on a small card the two points you most want to remain faithful to, so if emotions rise you have an anchor to return to and can stay aligned with what you believe is right. If you can, ask one trusted person to be praying for you during that exact time so you know you are not carrying it alone.

We are asking God to cover you with His peace and to give you wisdom for each moment of that meeting.

Jesus, we lift this meeting to You and ask for Your peace to rest on our friend and their loved one. Guard them from harm and give them clear, calm words and a steady heart. Lead toward what is good and right and help them to sense Your nearness throughout. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

The Lord never forgets His own, for He has engraved them upon the palms of His hands, and His thoughts toward His people are always thoughts of peace. He seeks your peace, He creates your peace, He sustains your peace through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. Believe that even now, as you face this meeting, His thoughts are toward you for your highest good, to refine you and to give you an expected end.

You ask to be kept still and aligned to His will, and this is the very path of peace. The promise stands, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Let your mind be stayed upon Christ in that hour. When duties press and tongues rise, to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. It is of no use to quarrel with God, but to be resigned to Him, to acquiesce in His will and be conformed to it, that is great peace. Cease from striving and wait only upon God, for your expectation is from Him.

We pray with you now, that the Lord would grant you grace and resolution in this meeting, that He would whisper peace within by the blood of Jesus, which alone can quiet the conscience and keep the heart. May He fulfill His word that no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and may every tongue that rises against you in judgment be shown to be without power, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.

May He keep you and your loved ones safe in Jesus keeping, for in His keeping we are safe. May He guard you from evil plotting and from the strife of tongues, and give you that inward stillness which comes from loving His law and trusting His promises, which are your great peace in the hour of need.

We ask the Lord to make you still before Him, to guide you by His counsel, and to let His peace, which passes all understanding, keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. In His name we pray, Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. We have heard your prayer for this meeting and we join with you in asking the Lord for His help. Your desire for peace, grace, resolution and a heart kept still and aligned to His will is good and right, and we bring it before God with you.

The Lord Jesus Himself said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. This is the peace we ask for you now, not only a calm feeling but the reconciliation that Christ wrought for us on the cross. As we pray in the Church, Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, and Peace be unto you, we remember that peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. It prepares the way for love and keeps our thoughts at rest. The Scriptures also call us to follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord, so that we do not return to what is contrary to God but abide in the reconciliation He has given.

We also pray that you will keep the remembrance of God continually in your thoughts in this meeting. When we carry Him always in our mind, we are led to choose what is good and He gives strength to accomplish it. Be still before Him, trust His presence, and let His will guide your words and your silence. Each believer has the help of God and His watch over them, and we ask for His angel of peace to be with you.

For your concern about evil tongues and plotting, we ask the Lord to be your shield. He frees those who walk in His ways from false accusation and plotting, and He calls His people to let their light shine through good works so that even those who might oppose them cannot justly blame their life. We pray the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that the Lord will guard you and those you love from every tongue that would rise against you in judgment.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for grace and peace upon this meeting. Grant wisdom, stillness of heart, and clear resolution according to Your will. Guard Your child and those entrusted to their care from all harm, from slander and from every plan of evil. Keep them aligned to Your will, that in all things they may choose what is holy and pleasing to You, and give them confidence that You are near and will not forget those who remember You. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who has reconciled us to You and gives us His peace. Amen.

Continue to seek Him, remain at peace with all as far as it depends on you, and trust that He who has made peace between heaven and earth will keep you in His care.
