Medicine for the soul

We want to thank you for allowing us the joy of lifting this beautiful request before the Lord—what a blessing to pray for the gift of laughter and lightness of heart! It’s a reminder that our God delights in filling us with His joy, which truly is our strength. We’ve been standing with you, asking the Lord to surround you with moments of humor, unexpected smiles, and the kind of deep, refreshing laughter that only He can provide. Maybe He’s already sent little glimpses—perhaps a funny memory that surfaced, a lighthearted conversation, or even a comedy that had you chuckling more than you expected. We’d love to hear if He’s answered in ways that have brightened your days!

If this season still feels heavy, though, we want you to know we’re here to keep praying with you. Sometimes joy comes like a slow sunrise, and that’s okay—we’ll continue asking the Lord to renew your spirit and give you opportunities to share laughter with others, too. His timing is perfect, and we trust He’s working even in the waiting.

Let us know how He’s moving in this, whether through a praise or a renewed request. We’re cheering you on as you seek His face, believing He’s drawing you closer to His heart—where there is fullness of joy. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your mind and heart as you walk with Him. We’re praying for you in Jesus’ name.

I am taking a medicine that could potentially pose fatal risks. I am not sure if I am just nervous about taking it because the risk is low. But pray that this medicine does not kill me. Pray that my nerves will subside because I know that God's plan is for me to prosper and not to harm me!
