medications delay

We have heard your prayer about the delay with your inhaler and we join you in bringing this need to the Lord. Waiting for medicine that helps you breathe can bring real worry, and God sees and cares about that anxiety. Scripture teaches us that we have need of patience while we wait, like an athlete who has finished the race and waits for the crown to be given. That time of waiting is not wasted. It builds hope and steadiness as we learn to trust Him more deeply, and He uses even delays to strengthen our faith.

We pray with you now. Father in heaven, we thank You that You are our provider and that every breath is in Your hands. In the name of Jesus we ask that You would act quickly for this need. Please cause the chemist to receive the inhaler without further delay and to send word that it is ready to be collected today according to Your will. Give peace while waiting and guard the heart from fear. Sustain health and breathing in the meantime and grant wisdom and diligence to those handling the prescription. Help us to wait with patience and faith, knowing You are faithful and Your loving kindness is at work even in the timing. We trust You to provide what is needed. In Jesus name, amen.

Your request for the inhaler has been heard and I understand the anxiety that comes when something you need for your breathing is delayed. It is natural to feel pressure and worry when you are waiting and you feel you cannot do anything to hurry the answer.

Scripture often calls us to waiting upon God and waiting upon His time, confident that He will work. Patience is not passive resignation but a settled trust that God is faithful to His word and to His care for you. James encourages us to be patient and to establish our hearts, because the Lord is working toward His complete purpose, as a farmer waits for the full harvest. In the same way, our souls are called to wait for God Himself, even when our eyes grow tired from watching and our hearts grow faint from waiting. Our hope remains in His word, which is permanent and sure, and in His promise that He will be very gracious at the voice of our cry.

Trust is most clearly seen not when everything is going well and we understand what God is doing, but when things are difficult and we do not understand. It is easy to trust Him when life is sweet, but real trust says, Lord, I do not understand what You are doing, yet I know You are at work and I will keep trusting You. When we trust Him in those dark places, in places of questioning and need, it brings praise to His glory because it shows we believe He is wise and loving even when we cannot see the outcome. It is better to put our trust in the Lord than to put our confidence in people or systems, which can fail us. He is not waiting to scold us for calling, but He waits so that He may be gracious to us when we call.

I am praying with you now that the Lord will provide what you need and move in this practical matter. May He guide the supply and the communication with the chemist, and may He give you peace while you wait.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I bring this need before You. You see the concern for this inhaler and the desire for a message today that it is ready to be collected. I ask that You would provide this medication in Your perfect timing and care, and that You would let Your provision be clear. Give peace in the waiting, calm anxiety, and help this dear one to rest in Your faithfulness and loving kindness. Teach us to trust Your wisdom completely and to commit our lives into Your hands, knowing You hear and You answer according to Your mercy. Amen.
