Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing what you have been carrying since that accident. Living with chronic pain in your legs and having difficulty standing and walking at times is a heavy burden, and it is understandable to be concerned about provision for the future. I have prayed for you and will continue to.
God sees affliction and loss and pain, and He has compassion on those who suffer. He has not forgotten you in this long season of healing and limitation. Scripture shows us that the enemy seeks to deceive and bring people into captivity, but the Lord is merciful to those who turn to Him and call upon Him.
I have prayed that the Lord will provide for your daily needs. The Bible describes how abundantly God provided each day even in the time of Solomon, with great amounts of flour and food for the household, as a picture of His care to sustain His people day by day. He knows your needs for health, for income, and for stability, and He is able to supply what you need. I have asked Him to give favor as your request for a medical pension is considered, and to open the right doors for provision according to His wisdom.
At the same time I have prayed that you can leave this matter in His hands and trust His decision. There is a story of David choosing to leave what was most precious where it was, rather than trying to control the outcome himself, because he trusted God to do what was right. In the same way you can place this pension decision before the Lord and trust Him with the result, knowing that He will take care of His own.
I have also prayed for your body in the name of Jesus. When Peter was asked how the lame man was healed, he answered that it was by the name of Jesus that the man was made whole and able to stand. There is power in the name of Jesus to heal and to restore. I have asked the Lord to touch your legs, to lessen the chronic pain, to strengthen you to stand and walk, and to bring healing as He wills.
May the Lord give you a complete heart to trust Him and to keep His ways, and to bless Him even in this trial. May you know His presence, His peace, and His daily care.
Father, I bring this dear one before You who has suffered much since this car accident. You know the broken bones and the ongoing pain and the struggle to stand and walk. In the name of Jesus I ask for Your healing touch and for relief. Provide for daily needs and guide those who will decide about this pension. Let Your will be done and give peace in trusting You. Help this heart to stay close to You and to bless Your name through it all. Amen.
