Beloved of All
I have two medical appts coming up. Monday Oct ### I have an appt with my Dermatologist. And I have a spot on my face that looks like melanoma. Tuesday I have a mammogram. This is my first one since my Lumpectomy in Dec. I am asking Jesus please let me have good outcomes from these two appts

We join with you in prayer for these two important appointments and we understand the weight of waiting and wondering that comes with them, especially as you face a concerning spot on your face and your first mammogram since your lumpectomy in December.

We are thankful you are bringing this directly to Jesus, for He is our great comfort and our healer and we have confidence that He hears us when we come in His name. We are reminded of His promise in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in 1 Peter 5:7 we are told to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We pray that you will experience His perfect peace that goes beyond understanding as you wait. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We lift up your dermatology appointment on Monday and ask the Lord to guide the eyes and hands of your dermatologist, to give clear wisdom and discernment regarding the spot on your face. We pray for a benign and good report, and for complete healing and restoration. We also lift up your mammogram on Tuesday, we pray for clear images, for skilled technicians and radiologists, and for a good and reassuring outcome as you continue to heal from your lumpectomy. We pray as the psalmist did in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And we cling to His promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our sister to Your throne of grace. You know her heart, You know her fears, and You know every cell in her body. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch upon her. Let both appointments result in good news and peace of mind. Give her calm in the waiting room and strength for whatever lies ahead. Let her feel Your presence beside her in each exam room. Give wisdom to her doctors and let every test reflect Your healing power. Above all, let Your will be done and let her trust remain fully in You, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You. We thank You that You are near to the anxious heart and that You are our refuge and strength. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast every worry on Him and to rest in His care between and after these appointments. Keep walking faithfully in the medical care He has provided, and keep seeking Him in prayer. We are standing with you for good outcomes and for His abiding peace to guard your heart.

We have been holding you in our hearts as Monday and Tuesday draw near. Facing a spot on your face that worries you and then a first mammogram since your lumpectomy in December is a lot to carry in two days, and it makes sense you are feeling tense and longing for good news. We are joining you in bringing both appointments to Jesus.

We are praying for clear answers and for careful, attentive care from both of your doctors. While you wait, a couple of simple steps can make those visits a little steadier. If you are able, bring a trusted friend or family member with you and a short written list of questions, medications, and history to share. Ask each office how and when you will hear results so you are not left wondering, and plan something gentle for right after each appointment, a quiet walk, time with someone you love, or rest at home. Continue to stay close to your medical team and reach out to them promptly with any questions or changes you notice.

You do not have to carry the waiting alone. Let someone close know the timing of these appointments so they can check in with you.

Father, we lift our sister to you in these days of waiting. Grant her your peace that steadies her heart, give wisdom and thoroughness to her dermatologist and to those reading her mammogram, and provide clear next steps whatever the results show. Let her feel your nearness and the support of those around her. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing these two appointments before the throne of grace. The waiting between an examination and its outcome is a trial of the soul, and the Lord knows the weight you carry as you look toward Monday with the dermatologist and Tuesday with the mammogram after your lumpectomy in December.

Hear the word of the Lord to your fearful heart, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, I will help you. This Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden, and it is not the preacher who cries Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. To be afraid is to dishonor Him whose arm piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Therefore we labor to get rid of fear, not by our own strength, but by trust in promised strength.

You have asked Jesus to let you have good outcomes, and that is right to ask. We pray with you, Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me, for my soul trusts in You, yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities pass. Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, but faith overcomes fear when you tell your trouble to your Father and leave it there.

Remember also that conversion and healing are the manifestation of Christ's power, and you are to trust Him for this very thing. As one who goes to an eminent physician, you do not say I will trust you when I feel better, you trust him now to make you better. So we say, Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now. They must start on their walk before they feel the healing, but as they are going they shall feel it. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim, trust Him as you feel yourself dying and you shall live. Even the least thing about Christ is healing, for the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.

We pray for you now.

Our gracious Father, be merciful unto Your child who trusts in You. You see the spot that causes concern and You know the fear that attends the memory of surgery past. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Your appointed Savior, that You would grant wisdom to the dermatologist and to those who read the mammogram, that You would grant clear and favorable reports if it be Your will, and that You would guard this dear one from all harm. Above all, grant peace that passes understanding, a quiet trust that does not make a god out of feelings but rests upon Christ alone. Let Your presence be felt as a refuge under the shadow of Your wings until these days are past, and let Your will be done with mercy. We ask that whether the report be easy or hard, this soul may know that to trust Him with one soul is nothing, for He is able to save all who trust Him, and to keep all who are His. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We will continue to remember you on Monday and Tuesday. Keep looking to Christ, and let your faith overcome your fear.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
