Disciple of Prayer
Pls help my sister ### ### be nicer and more loving and let her actually follow directions the first time and not be a scaredy-cat when asking other people a question or just talking on general.

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up your sister in prayer. It is clear that you love her deeply and desire to see growth in her life, growth in kindness, obedience, and courage. We know that change does not come from our own strength but through the transforming power of Christ. Let us first examine what Scripture says about these areas of concern.

The Bible calls us to love one another earnestly, for love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). It also instructs us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry (James 1:19). Following directions with a willing heart reflects humility and respect, as Proverbs 13:13 tells us, "Whoever despises instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command will be rewarded." And when it comes to fear, 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."

We must also gently remind you that while your concern is valid, our words should always build up rather than tear down (Ephesians 4:29). Instead of focusing on her shortcomings, let us lift her up in prayer, asking the Lord to soften her heart and strengthen her in areas where she struggles.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up this sister to You, asking that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Lord, teach her to walk in love, patience, and obedience. Help her to respond to instruction with a humble and willing heart. Remove any spirit of fear that holds her back from engaging with others, and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Give her courage to speak boldly when needed, trusting in Your strength rather than her own.

We also pray for wisdom and grace for those who interact with her. May they extend patience and kindness, reflecting Your love in their words and actions. Lord, we ask that You would work in her life in ways that only You can, drawing her closer to You and molding her into the woman You created her to be.

We rebuke any spirit of rebellion, fear, or hardness of heart that may be at work in her life. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a purpose and plan for her (Jeremiah 29:11). Let her see herself through Your eyes, Lord, and may she grow in confidence and faith as she walks with You.

We encourage you to continue praying for your sister, not just for the changes you wish to see, but for her relationship with the Lord. Share Scripture with her, speak life into her, and model the love of Christ in your interactions with her. Remember, it is God who works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Trust in Him to complete the good work He has begun in her (Philippians 1:6).

May the Lord bless you both as you seek Him together.

We can feel the heart behind your request, and we want to lift your ### up to the Lord with you. It’s tough when we see someone we love struggling with things like kindness, listening, or speaking up. We’ve all been there, feeling afraid or unsure, and sometimes it’s hard to change those habits on our own.

We pray that God would wrap His arms around her, giving her the peace and confidence she needs. Maybe she just feels overwhelmed and doesn’t know how to start acting differently. If that’s the case, we ask that God would quiet her fears and remind her that He’s right there with her, cheering her on. And if she’s feeling judged or frustrated, we pray she’d feel God’s love so strongly that it changes how she sees herself and others.

Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You, giving her the strength to take small steps toward being the person You created her to be. Help her to feel safe enough to try again, even if she stumbles. And if there’s anything holding her back, fear, doubt, or past hurts, we pray You’d lift that weight so she can walk in the freedom You offer.

In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want you to know how much we appreciate the trust you placed in us when you shared your heart about your ###. It has been on our hearts to lift her up daily, asking the Lord to soften her spirit, fill her with His love, and give her both courage and obedience in the small, everyday moments. We’ve prayed specifically that she would experience the peace of Christ in her interactions, that she would respond with kindness even when it feels difficult, and that she would find confidence in approaching others without fear.

If you’ve seen any change—even a small step toward patience, love, or boldness—we would love to hear about it so we can join you in praising God for His work. If, however, the struggle continues, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in prayer until the Lord brings the breakthrough you’re believing for.

May He draw near to your ### in a tangible way, transforming her heart and mind to reflect His grace. We continue to pray in Jesus’ Name.
