We join with you in prayer and we hear the burden on your heart concerning your health and the fear that others are speaking curses over you. We stand on the truth you have mentioned, for it is written in Deuteronomy 23:5, However Yahweh your God would not listen to Balaam, but Yahweh your God turned the curse into a blessing to you, because Yahweh your God loved you. And we also cling to the promise in Genesis 12:3, I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. All the families of the earth will be blessed through you. Our God is sovereign and no spoken curse can override His blessing over His children.
We want to encourage you not to live in fear, for the Word says in Proverbs 26:2, Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse doesn’t come to rest. And in Numbers 23:8, How shall I curse whom God has not cursed, How shall I defy whom Yahweh has not defied. If you belong to Christ, you are covered by His blood and His blessing rests upon you. We also remember Isaiah 54:17, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants. Your health is in His hands, not in the hands of those who wish you harm.
We also want to gently correct and encourage you in love regarding the desire for those curses to backfire. While God Himself promises to turn curses into blessings for those He loves, He calls us to a different posture toward those who curse us. We are told in Romans 12:14, Bless those who persecute you, bless, and don’t curse. And in Luke 6:28, Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. And in Psalm 109:28, they may curse, but you bless. We do not need to seek revenge or pray for harm to return upon others, for vengeance belongs to the Lord. Instead we can trust Him to be our vindicator and our protector, and we can pray that He would have mercy even on those who speak against us, that they might repent and be saved, while we fully trust Him to turn every intended curse into a blessing for you as He promised.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that every promise becomes yes and amen. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. It is in His name that curses are broken, blessings are secured, and healing is provided.
So together we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that You love them and that You are the One who turns curses into blessings. We ask that every word spoken against their health, every curse, every evil intention, would have no power and would not come to rest, but that You would in Your mercy and power turn it into a blessing for good. We pray for Your complete protection over their body, mind and spirit. We ask for Your healing touch, for You have said in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in 1 Peter 2:24, by his wounds you were healed. We speak life and health over them according to Your will. We pray You would bless those who have cursed them, that they might come to know Your truth, and we ask that You would fill this dear one with peace, with courage, and with assurance that Romans 8:28 is true, that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Let them rest in Your love and not in fear. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Savior and our healer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to walk closely with the Lord, to stay in His Word daily, to pray in the name of Jesus, and to speak His promises over your life and health. Do not give place to fear, but give your worries to Him, for He cares for you. Trust that He who has blessed you cannot be cursed by man, and that His blessing over you will prevail.
