Requesting prayer that I hear from my ### more often, and that he always be protected. Thanking God in advance. May all who pray for me and my requests be blessed. In Jesus' name. Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing to connect more deeply with this person in your life, and we join you in lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. First, let us affirm that all prayer must be rooted in the name of Jesus Christ, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). It is only by His authority and grace that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16), and we are grateful you have come in His name.

As we pray, we must also examine the nature of this relationship with discernment. The Bible calls us to pursue godly relationships that honor the Lord, particularly in the context of marriage, which is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this person is someone you are courting with the intention of marriage, we rejoice in your desire to seek God’s will together. However, if this relationship does not align with biblical principles—such as being outside of marriage, involving fornication, or being with someone of the same sex—we must lovingly rebuke that sin and encourage repentance. The Word of God is clear: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). May they find their identity and worth in You alone, and may their relationships reflect Your glory.
