Matthew 19:26

We are so encouraged that you have brought this powerful truth before us, for this verse has brought comfort to countless hearts facing impossible situations.

We love this word from our Lord Jesus, Matthew 19:26. In context, Jesus had just spoken with the rich young man who went away sorrowful because he would not give up his possessions to follow Him. The disciples were astonished and asked, who then can be saved. Jesus looked at them and said, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. The primary impossibility Jesus was speaking of is salvation itself. We cannot save ourselves by our own goodness, works, or riches. Salvation is impossible with man, but with God it is made possible through faith in Jesus Christ.

We want to gently remind you of this precious truth, it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that this impossibility becomes possible. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If we have not yet trusted in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, we encourage you to call upon His name today, for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13.

This promise also extends to every circumstance that feels impossible in our lives. What man cannot do, God can. As the angel said to Mary, For nothing spoken by God is impossible, Luke 1:37, and as Jeremiah prayed, Ah Lord Yahweh, behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you, Jeremiah 32:17. Yet we also understand that all things are possible with God does not mean God will grant every desire of our hearts apart from His will and character. God cannot lie, Titus 1:2, and He will not act contrary to His holiness and His perfect Word. His possibilities are always in perfect harmony with His goodness, wisdom, and purposes for us, which are far greater than we can imagine, as it is written, Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians 3:20.

So we hold fast to this promise with trust and surrender, believing God can make a way where there is no way, heal, restore, provide, and save, all according to His perfect will.

We pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that what is impossible with us is possible with You. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, which we could never earn on our own. Lord, we lift up the one who shared this verse and every burden on their heart that feels impossible today. You see what overwhelms them, and You know the needs they have not even spoken. We ask that You would show Your power and Your mercy in their life, strengthen their faith, and help them to trust not in their own strength but in Your unfailing love and mighty arm. Let Your will be done, and let them experience Your peace that passes all understanding. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, in whom all Your promises are yes and amen. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep abiding in Him, to keep praying and keep trusting, for He who promised is faithful, Hebrews 10:23. We are standing with you, believing God for His perfect work in your life.

Thank you for sharing this verse with us. We can hear how much you are leaning on the truth that God can do what we cannot.

When something feels impossible for a long time, hope can wear thin. We have found that hope is not about pretending the hard thing is not hard, but about keeping our hearts anchored to who God is even while we still feel the weight of it. He sees the whole picture when we can only see the next step, and He stays close as He shapes our trust day by day, even through seasons of waiting and suffering.

If it helps, you might try bringing that one impossible situation to Him in plain words each morning, just as it is, and letting one trusted pastor or friend know you are carrying it so you are not holding it alone. Staying connected in worship and in honest community often helps hope stay alive when discouragement presses in.

Father, we bring our friend to You right now. You know the impossible they are facing and how much they want to see Your hand. Fill them with Your peace as they trust You, remind them You are near, and give them strength for today. Guide their steps according to Your good will. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible, and that word is full of comfort for any soul that feels its own helplessness.

There is no hope for you in yourself, and it is well when you are brought to see it, for you are wearied in the length of your way and there is no strength in your own hand to save you. Yet there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as you. What you cannot do, He can do, and what is impossible with man is possible with God. He is the great Miracle Worker who is able to deliver those who are led captive and to work a miracle of mercy even for you. Nobody can work this mighty miracle but the Lord Jesus Christ, yet He can do it more swiftly than we can speak of it.

Have faith in God. It may be that your faith is little, but little faith is still true faith when it begins and ends with Jesus, and the least faith in Jesus is the gift of God and is like precious faith. Strong faith is content to believe God's bare Word without signs or tokens. Take salvation freely as Christ provides it, for without faith it is impossible to please God, and without union to Christ there is no salvation. Trust Him alone, for our hope is fixed on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness, and salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.

We will pray that the Lord will turn this possible hope into an actual hope in your heart. May He increase your faith, grant you to believe on His Son, and show you that He is grand in emergencies and able to do for you what you cannot do for yourself. May you look to Christ and live, and find that with God all things are possible to save and to keep and to make you whole.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have brought a precious word before the Lord, and it is good to hold fast to it. When Jesus spoke these words in Matthew 19, He was speaking of what man cannot do for himself, to save his own soul and to enter the kingdom by his own strength. That is impossible for us. But with God it becomes possible, because He reconciled us while we were still enemies and opened a way where there was no way, as He once parted the Red Sea so His people could pass.

This is where faith is given to us, not as a large and showy thing, but as a mustard seed. Though it seems small in bulk, its power is great when it is genuine, and Christ Himself said that with such faith nothing shall be impossible to you, even to move mountains. Faith is like a shield set before the whole body, and all things yield to it when it is placed in God and not in ourselves.

Do not be troubled if God does not work in the way you expect or if you desire a visible sign. The greatest work of God is not always a wonder seen by many, but the changing of the heart, the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ alone, and the strength to walk the narrow way that leads to life. That narrow way may feel difficult, yet the former way of sin was not only narrow but impassable and full of danger. If God has made the impossible possible by bringing us from death to life through Christ, how much more will He make the difficult things possible as you follow Him day by day.

So bring your impossible situation to Him in prayer, asking not only for the outcome you desire, but for His will to be done and for your heart to be made faithful, pure and obedient to what He has taught. His design for life and for marriage and for holiness is for our good, and He does not bless what goes against it, but He is able to transform us and to give us grace to live according to it. He is able to do far more than we can explain, for as the Spirit wrought His work in ways beyond our understanding, so He still works beyond our understanding now. Trust Him, remain in His word, practice virtue and love for Him, and He will give you what is best.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we thank You that what is impossible with man is possible with You. Forgive our sins through the blood of Jesus Christ, increase our faith though it be small as a mustard seed, and make it genuine and strong. Guard us as with a shield, open the way before us where there seems to be no way, and give us grace to walk in holiness according to Your good design, trusting Your power and Your goodness. Lead us to do Your will and to find our hope in You alone. Amen.
