I lift up this precious woman, Lord, and I thankyou that You will help her to fix her eyes, not on her circumstances, but on You. Psalm 121
A Song of Ascents.
1[a]I WILL lift up my eyes to the hills [around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah]--From whence shall my help come? 2My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
3He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber.
4Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand [the side not carrying a shield].
6The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.
7The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.
8The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
Isaiah 60:1
ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
