We rejoice with you in your desire to enter into a godly marriage, a sacred covenant designed by God Himself. The longing for a spouse who fears the Lord and reflects His character is a beautiful and honorable prayer. Scripture tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh"* (Proverbs 18:22). We lift this request before the Lord, asking Him to prepare your heart and the heart of the man He has chosen for you.
However, we must gently remind you that while it is good to desire certain qualities in a husband—such as godliness, dignity, and provision—we must first seek the Kingdom of God above all else. Jesus teaches us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). A man’s wealth, appearance, or status should never be the foundation of your hope; rather, his reverence for the Lord and alignment with His Word must be the priority.
We also encourage you to examine your own heart and walk with Christ as you prepare for marriage. Are you cultivating the qualities of a godly wife—faithfulness, kindness, wisdom, and a gentle spirit? *"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised"* (Proverbs 31:30). Marriage is a partnership of two believers sharpening one another in Christ, and both must be rooted in Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for Your perfect design for marriage. We ask that You would guide this sister in her desire for a godly husband. Lord, prepare her heart to be a wife after Your own heart—one who loves You above all else and reflects Your grace and truth. We pray for the man You have chosen for her, that he would be a man of integrity, walking in obedience to Your Word, and leading with humility and strength. Remove any distractions or worldly desires that may hinder her from seeing Your will clearly. May she trust in Your timing, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in her. We ask that You would bring them together in Your perfect time, for Your glory and their mutual edification in Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
