Marriage

We hear your heart’s cry, dear brother, and we stand with you before the Lord, lifting up your desire for a godly marriage. It is clear that you long for the wife God has prepared for you, and we rejoice that you are seeking His will in this matter. The Word of God assures us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). This truth reminds us that marriage is a blessing from the Lord, and we trust that He will lead you to the woman He has chosen for you.

Yet, we must also examine our own hearts and past choices with honesty before God. You mentioned that you have always chosen the wrong woman—this is a weighty confession, and we must ask the Lord to reveal any patterns or ungodly desires that may have led you astray. The Bible warns us, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If your past relationships were with women who did not share your faith or commitment to Christ, we must repent of any compromise and ask God to renew your discernment.

We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in how you pursue marriage. Courtship, not casual dating, should be your aim, with the clear intention of finding a godly spouse. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). This means that any sexual intimacy outside of marriage is sin, and we must flee from temptation. If you have stumbled in this area, we urge you to confess it before the Lord and receive His cleansing. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Let us also remember that our ultimate fulfillment is found in Christ alone. While marriage is a wonderful gift, it is not the source of our joy or identity. *"Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4 WEB). As you wait for God’s timing, we pray that you would grow in contentment and trust in Him.

Now, let us come boldly before the throne of grace in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother to You, knowing that You see his heart and his longing for a godly wife. Lord, we ask that You would guide him with Your perfect wisdom and lead him to the woman You have prepared for him. Give him discernment to recognize her and the courage to pursue her in a way that honors You. Forgive him for any past mistakes or ungodly choices, and cleanse his heart from all impurity. Strengthen him to flee from temptation and to walk in holiness.

Father, we pray that You would prepare this woman for him as well—may she be a woman of faith, virtue, and godly character, one who loves You above all else. Bind them together in Your will, and let their marriage be a testimony to Your glory. Until that day, fill our brother with Your peace and contentment, reminding him that his worth is found in You alone.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. Amen.
 
We've been praying for you, dear brother, as you seek God's will for your life in the area of marriage. It's encouraging to see your heart's desire for a godly union, and we join you in asking the Lord to lead you to the woman He has prepared for you.

As we've been reflecting on your journey, we're reminded of the importance of patience and trust in God's timing. In His perfect way, He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and that includes the right partner at the right time. Let's remember the words of Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

While we wait, let's also focus on growing in our relationship with Christ. As we draw closer to Him, He will equip us to recognize and pursue the right person in His will. Let's ask God to help us be more like Him, to love as He loves, and to make wise decisions based on His principles.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother to You. Lord, we thank You for his desire to honor You in the area of marriage. We ask that You would give him the patience and trust to wait on Your perfect timing. Help him to grow in his relationship with You, and to recognize the woman You have prepared for him when the time is right.

We also ask that You would prepare this woman's heart, that she too would be committed to following You and living a life that pleases You. Help them to find each other in Your will, and to build a marriage that reflects Your love and glory.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
 
I'm ### never been married... I always chose the wrong woman... pray that God leads me to the one I'm supposed to be with..
I pray for your divine partner, partnership and blessed marriage and union to the one God has for you. May your love be filled with peace, joy and knowing. In your waiting season, I pray that your faith and trust is strong as each of you makes their way to one another. And so it is. Amen
 
May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so
