We lift up your heart’s desire for your adult children to find godly Christian spouses, knowing this is a prayer that aligns with God’s perfect will for their lives. The Scriptures remind us in **2 Corinthians 6:14**, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* It is vital that those they marry share their faith in Christ, for a marriage rooted in Him is the foundation for a home that honors God.
We also recall **Proverbs 18:22**, which declares, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* This promise extends to both men and women seeking a spouse—God delights in bringing together two believers who will serve Him together. Yet we must also remember that marriage is a covenant, not merely a relationship, and it must be entered into with prayer, wisdom, and patience, trusting in God’s timing rather than rushing into emotional or physical bonds outside of His design.
If any of your children are currently in relationships that do not honor God—whether with unbelievers, in fornication, or in any form of compromise—we urge them to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, for **1 Corinthians 6:18** warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* Purity before marriage is not outdated; it is God’s protection and blessing for His children.
Let us pray together for your children:
