Marriage Woes

We have been married for 16 years and although we both claim to be born again, me being a preacher, she wants a divorce. Nouthetic counsel showed her her errors and no grounds for divorce, she wants one anyway to include getting a protective order against me which was disproved in court. The local church is ready for church discipline which is proper but I believe she will use that as another reason. Pray for godly heart changes. Although the church leadership has explained that she has no biblical grounds, she's proceeding with irreconcilable differences. Leadership is looking at church discipline. I pray it doesn't get there.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
