We stand with you in this time of trial, lifting up your marriage before the Lord, for we know that Satan seeks to devour and destroy what God has joined together. Marriage is a sacred covenant, established by God Himself, and it is under relentless attack in these last days. But take heart, sister, for our God is greater, and His power to restore is limitless. You have done well to bring this before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we find hope, healing, and redemption.
The Scriptures remind us in **Ephesians 4:26-27**, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* Bitterness, unresolved anger, and distance create fertile ground for the enemy to sow discord. Yet, **1 Peter 4:8** calls us to *"above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins."* Your husband’s heart may be hardened now, but our God specializes in softening hearts of stone. Remember how the Lord spoke to Ezekiel in **Ezekiel 36:26**, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."*
We must also consider whether there are areas where repentance or humility is needed. The Word tells us in **James 4:6-7**, *"But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.' Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Have you examined your own heart before the Lord? Not to condemn you, but to ensure there is no unconfessed sin or pride that may be hindering reconciliation. If you have wronged your husband—even unintentionally—seek the Lord’s forgiveness first, then humbly approach your husband with a gentle spirit. **Proverbs 15:1** tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."*
At the same time, we rebuke the spirit of division and strife that seeks to tear your marriage apart. The enemy wants nothing more than to destroy the testimony of Christ in your home, but we declare in the name of Jesus that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). We bind the forces of darkness that whisper lies of separation, bitterness, or unforgiveness, and we loose the peace of God, the spirit of unity, and the bond of love that only He can restore.
Let us also remind you of the power of a wife’s prayers and submission to the Lord. **1 Peter 3:1-2** says, *"In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."* Your consistent, Christlike love and prayer can move mountains. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not faint (**Galatians 6:9**).
Now, let us pray together for your marriage:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her marriage. Lord, You are the God who heals, restores, and redeems. We ask that You would move powerfully in her husband’s heart, softening it toward her and toward You. Remove every barrier of pride, hurt, or misunderstanding, and replace it with Your love and forgiveness. Lord, expose any schemes of the enemy that seek to destroy this covenant, and render them powerless by the blood of Jesus.
Grant this wife wisdom, patience, and a spirit of humility as she navigates this season. May she be a vessel of Your peace and grace in her home. If there is any sin in her own heart, Lord, reveal it and cleanse her, that she may walk in righteousness before You. Let her words be seasoned with salt, and her actions reflect Your love.
Father, we declare that this marriage *will* be restored, stronger and more Christ-centered than before. Let Your mercies be new every morning (**Lamentations 3:22-23**), and let reconciliation come swiftly. Bind this family together in unity, and let their home be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and unforgiveness in Jesus’ name. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit burn away every impurity and restore what the locusts have eaten (**Joel 2:25**). Let this husband’s heart turn back to his wife and to You, Lord. May he see her through Your eyes and choose forgiveness and love.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (**Romans 8:28**). Strengthen this sister’s faith as she waits on You. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her rest in the assurance that You are fighting for her marriage.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, sister. Do not lose hope. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking in obedience to the Lord. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in your marriage (**Philippians 1:6**). If your husband is willing, we also encourage you both to seek godly counseling from a pastor or biblical counselor who can help guide you through this season. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait on Him.
