We have heard your cry concerning your marriage to your husband and we lift you both up together before the Lord in Jesus name. We understand the heaviness you carry with his anger, the gaslighting and blame shifting and manipulation when you argue, and the anxiety and financial pressure that weighs on your peace of mind, and we want to stand with you in prayer and in biblical truth.

Scripture is clear that marriage is a holy covenant where two become one flesh and what therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart Matthew 19:6. God intends marriage to be lifelong and to reflect Christ's love for His people, and He calls both husband and wife to honor that covenant. For husbands the command is Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them Colossians 3:19 and Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25. Anger that is harsh, controlling, or explosive, and manipulation that twists truth, does not align with this calling. We must gently but firmly rebuke those patterns because they are sin before God. Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil Ephesians 4:26-27 and A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger Proverbs 15:1. Gaslighting and blame shifting are forms of falsehood and deceit, and the Lord calls us to Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor Ephesians 4:25. A husband is called to dwell with his wife with understanding and honor, and anger and manipulation break that trust and harm the oneness God desires. We pray that your husband will see this, repent, and allow the Holy Spirit to transform his heart and temper, learning self control which is fruit of the Spirit.

We also hear your anxiety and your need for peace of mind. The Lord invites you to cast your cares on Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7 and casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that God will quiet your anxious heart and guard your mind as you trust Him day by day.

Concerning your financial struggles and your husband's work, we pray for God's provision and guidance. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. Whatever your husband does at work, we pray he will do it heartily as unto the Lord and that God will give him wisdom, integrity, and favor, and that you both will steward what God provides with unity and honesty.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To simply claim a prayer is not enough without coming through Christ in repentance and faith, believing that He died for our sins and rose again and trusting Him as Lord. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and to pray in His name.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this marriage to You. Lord, we ask You to convict and soften this husband's heart, to deliver him from anger, deceit, manipulation and blame shifting, and to teach him to love his wife as Christ loved the church, with gentleness, truth, patience and humility. Heal the wounds caused by harsh words and gaslighting and restore honest and loving communication between them. Lord, we ask You to calm this dear wife's anxiety, to fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and to strengthen her to walk in grace and truth while upholding Your design for marriage. Provide for their financial needs according to Your riches, grant wisdom in stewardship, and guide her husband's steps at work that he may act with integrity and diligence before You. Draw them both closer to Jesus, closer to Your Word, and to godly counsel in their local church, that their marriage may be restored and made strong to honor You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you both to seek godly, biblical counsel together from a trusted pastor or mature Christian counselors, to commit to regular prayer together and in the Word, and to practice speaking truth in love with patience. God is able to redeem and restore what is broken when hearts turn to Him in humility and obedience.

We hear how heavy this has felt for you, carrying the strain in your marriage, the anxiety that won't let up, and the pressure around finances and work. When arguments leave you feeling blamed and confused, it makes sense that your peace of mind feels shaken. We are praying with you for steadiness and clarity in the middle of it.

What you described about anger and blame shifting is painful to live with. Often anger covers other things going on underneath, like hurt or fear or frustration, and when it is not handled well it can leave the other person feeling small and on edge. You are not wrong to want calm, honest conversation and to feel safe and respected in your own home.

One thing that often helps is not carrying this alone. If you have a trusted pastor, counselor, or mature married woman you respect, consider inviting her to walk with you regularly, someone who can listen, pray, and help you think through next steps clearly. If anxiety is making it hard to sleep, concentrate, or get through the day, it can also help to talk with your doctor or a counselor alongside prayer, so you have support for both heart and body.

For the financial and work pressures, even a simple step like sitting down together at a calm moment to look honestly at income, bills, and what is most urgent can bring a little more peace and direction, and a pastor or financial counselor at your church may be able to help you think that through.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this wife and her husband to You. Grant her peace of mind, rest for her anxious thoughts, and wisdom for each conversation. Provide for their financial needs, guide her husband in his work, and lead them both toward healing, honesty, and Your direction for their marriage. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father soften hearts and bring peace of mind to this situation. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your burden concerning your marriage has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer for you, for your husband, and for your home.

The heaviness you describe, the anger and strife, the words that wound and confuse, the shifting of blame, together with anxiety and financial pressure, are indeed a great trial. We hear your longing for peace of mind, and we would point you to that perfect peace which God alone can give. As the prophet has said, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This peace is not a mere lulling of anxiety or a blindness to danger, but a peace that flows from being at peace with God through the blood of Jesus Christ. Peace with God is the fountain, and peace in the conscience is the stream that issues from it. It is a peace which God the Father gives, which Jesus Christ bought with His blood, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul.

Therefore do not seek after peace first. Seek after Christ first, and peace will come next. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even in this dark world of sin and in the midst of thronging duties and sorrows surging round. When the mind is stayed upon Him, He keeps the heart with a peace which passes all understanding. Anxiety itself unfits us to meet our difficulties, but trust fits us to bear sorrow with Him and to find rest in doing His will.

Concerning marriage, we hold fast what Scripture teaches, that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, cemented by mutual love, where husband and wife become one. It is a union of choice and of love, and it reflects the faithfulness of God who says, I am married unto you. Such a union calls both husband and wife to put away anger and deceit and to walk in truth and tenderness before the Lord. We will pray that your husband may be brought under the gracious hand of God, that any pattern of anger, manipulation and blame shifting may be confessed and forsaken, and that he may be guided and corrected by the Spirit of God and by faithful counsel in the church. We will pray also that you may be strengthened to walk in wisdom, in truth, and in holiness, careful not to lose that peace which comes from a clear conscience before God.

We will pray for your financial need and for his work, that the Lord who is the God of all peace and all provision would grant guidance, integrity, and diligence in his labors, and that He would supply what you need according to His wisdom.

Let us pray together. O Lord, our God of Peace, we come through Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and the only way of peace between God and man. We ask for reconciliation with You first, and then for reconciliation and healing in this home. Forgive sin, wash the conscience in the blood of Christ, and give a new heart. Grant perfect peace to this anxious soul whose mind would be stayed on You. Remove anger and guile, and grant a spirit of gentleness, truth, and self control. Provide for their financial burden and give wisdom and guidance in all work and decisions. Let Your peace, like a river flowing from Your throne, keep their hearts and minds. May they know that peace which Jesus leaves and gives, and may they go in that peace to do Your will. In the name of Jesus Christ, our peace, Amen.

We encourage you to stay in the Word, to cast all your care upon Him, and to seek the help of wise and godly pastoral counsel nearby, so that you are not alone in bearing this burden. If anger ever threatens safety, seek immediate help from trusted pastors and family. We continue to bear you up before the God who keeps in perfect peace all who trust in Him.
