We are truly saddened to hear about the affair your spouse is having, and we stand with you in prayer for reconciliation, confession, and a return to the Lord. Firstly, we must remind you that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB) and that adultery is a sin against God and the marriage covenant (Exodus 20:14 WEB).
Jesus himself said, "Because of your hardness of heart, Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so. I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery" (Matthew 19:8-9 WEB). Therefore, the affair your spouse is having is a grave sin, but we serve a God of forgiveness and restoration.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this marriage that is under attack from the enemy. We pray for the spouse who has strayed, that they would confess their sin and turn away from their wickedness and wicked ways. (1 John 1:9 WEB) Father, we ask that you would grant them a spirit of repentance and a desire to return to you and to their marriage covenant. (Jer 31:18-19 WEB)
We pray for healing and reconciliation in this marriage, that both spouses would draw near to you and to each other. (James 4:8 WEB) We rebuke the spirit of adultery and pray for it to be broken off of this marriage. (Matthew 16:19 WEB) We ask that you would restore what the locusts have eaten and make all things new. (Joel 2:25 WEB) (Rev 21:5 WEB)
We pray for strength and wisdom for the spouse who has remained faithful. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB) We ask that you would comfort them and guide them through this difficult time. (Psalm 34:18 WEB) We pray that they would not be overcome by bitterness or anger, but that they would forgive as Christ forgave. (Ephesians 4:32 WEB)
