Marriage - No longer "in" love - Today I told my husband that I am no longer "in" love with him. I love him. He is always giving me advice and is a very knowledgeable and wise. I know he means well and only wants the best for me. However, I often find myself ready to defend myself when he's giving me advice, assuming the worst when he speaks to me concerning anything regarding our relationship, assuming that he is always judging me or looking down on me because I have not been a perfect wife (I have not cheated or anything horrible like that. I just don't communicate, cook, clean or support him like I should). This has led to me viewing him more as an authority figure instead of a partner or lover. Please pray that I am able to meet his need of a partner and he my need for the same. Please also pray that we are able to show one another consistently that we love one another and develop spark and passion in our relationship.

You married under the covenant of the Lord. The Lord does not like nor see divorce as an avenue out. Watch the movie "Fireproof" and use the book "The Love Dare". Ask your Lord for guidance in how to move forward with your marriage. Marriage is such a sacrifice that we take on when we commit to it. We must give without looking to receive. When we look to receive, we tear our one flesh. Love is more than what one feels, it is kind, it is giving, it is forgiving, Love is never ending. We may feel out of love with the person we marry, we must find it again. Divorce is not an answer to look for. Try, read, and watch that movie. If I could have my wife back home with me, I would change the way I seek love in a whole different way.

God, help this child find the way of your word. Help this marriage rekindle what you allowed to start. Do not let this marriage end up in the same place as mine has due to my blind eye. This person is asking for help before it is past a point of dealing with heartache. Amen.

I am on the other end of the scenario and believe me when I see satan at work again to deceive God's followers to destroy marriages. Please pray for your husband daily even when you don't feel like it. It will help you to feel more in love with him again through God's eyes. We serve and sacrifice like Christ and we will gain love like Christ! I am praying for you and I believe you have a will to follow God and restore love for your husband.
