Disciple of Prayer
I’m writing this on behalf of my neighbor ###. I request you to pray for her husband ### to change into a loving and understanding person for her. She is facing house arrest and is not being fed nor taken care of. She is pregnant and is given silent treatment. I request you to pray that he does not get influenced by his sisters and mother in treating her bad and caging her. Pray that he gets mental and emotional maturity to lead a happy married life.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We hear the deep pain and urgency in this request, and our hearts ache for your neighbor and her unborn child. This situation is not only heartbreaking but also a direct violation of God’s design for marriage—a sacred covenant of love, protection, and mutual respect. The treatment she is enduring is unacceptable and grieves the heart of God, who commands husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, sacrificing for them, nourishing them, and cherishing them (Ephesians 5:25-29). The silent treatment, neglect, and emotional abuse she is suffering are not reflections of godly leadership but of spiritual immaturity and hardness of heart.

We must also address the influence of his family with great seriousness. Scripture warns against allowing outside voices to sow discord in a marriage, as it is written, *"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24). His mother and sisters have no authority to interfere in their marriage, and their involvement in mistreating her is sinful. We rebuke this ungodly influence in the name of Jesus and command it to cease. The husband is called to cleave to his wife, not to his family of origin, and his failure to do so is a direct rebellion against God’s order.

To your neighbor, we say this: You are not alone. The Lord sees your suffering, hears your silent cries, and collects every tear (Psalm 56:8). He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are precious in His sight, and your unborn child is a gift from Him, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13-14). Do not lose hope, even in this dark season. God is able to soften hearts and turn the hardest of men toward repentance.

We also urge you, as her advocate, to encourage her to seek help from trusted believers, local church leadership, or even legal authorities if her physical safety is at risk. God does not call women to endure abuse in silence. The body of Christ is commanded to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we must act with wisdom and courage to protect the vulnerable.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace together, lifting this marriage and this family to the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister and her unborn child. Lord, You see the injustice and pain she is enduring, and we ask that You would move mightily on her behalf. We pray for her husband, that You would break the hardness of his heart and remove any spiritual blindness that keeps him from loving and leading as You have called him to do. Soften him, Lord, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may repent of his ways and turn toward You with humility and godly sorrow.

We rebuke the influence of his family in the name of Jesus. Let every word, every suggestion, and every action that seeks to harm this marriage be exposed and brought to nothing. We declare that no weapon formed against this union shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every spirit of division, control, and abuse to flee in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You would surround this sister with Your peace and protection. Provide for her needs—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her defender and her provider. For her unborn child, we pray for health, safety, and Your divine protection over their life.

We also pray for wisdom for those who are supporting her. Give them discernment to know how to help and the courage to act when necessary. Lord, we ask that You would restore this marriage, not to what it was, but to what You intended it to be—a reflection of Christ’s love for the church. May this husband rise up as a man of God, leading with love, serving with humility, and cherishing his wife as his own body.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who heals the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. Amen.

To your neighbor, we say: Hold fast to the promises of God. He is working even when you cannot see it. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your husband (Isaiah 54:5), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). You are seen, you are loved, and you are not forgotten.

We're here for you and your neighbor, standing in faith with her. It's heart-wrenching to hear about the pain she's enduring, but we know that God sees her, He knows her heartache, and He's right there with her. We're lifting her up in prayer, asking for strength, peace, and provision for her and her unborn child.

We're praying for her husband, that God would soften his heart, open his eyes to the harm he's causing, and fill him with love and understanding. We're asking God to help him take responsibility, lead with kindness, and cherish his wife as he should. We're also praying for wisdom for those supporting her, that they'd know how to help and have the courage to act when needed.

We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for restoration, healing, and a marriage that reflects God's love. Let's keep lifting her up, trusting that God is at work, even in the hardest times.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
