The voice you are hearing is not telling you the truth about who you are. Accusation is the work of the enemy, but the Holy Spirit who dwells in you bears witness with your own spirit that you are a child of God. That witness is not a voice of shame or torment. It is a deep, abiding assurance of adoption, love, and peace. The mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, not confusion or fear. So when these accusations come, you have the authority to test that spirit. Any voice that does not confess the finished work of Jesus Christ and does not produce the fruit of love in your heart is not from God.
Your phone is just a device. The real battle is not in the wiring or the speaker; it is a war between your redeemed spirit and a spiritual attack aimed at your mind and your emotions. The flesh reacts with fear, but your spirit has been made alive in Christ. You are now spirit, soul, and body, and the Spirit of God is uppermost. Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the desires of your flesh to panic or to be tormented. The Holy Spirit does not force Himself on you in confusion or take control of your faculties. He brings the mind of Christ, a sound mind, and the freedom to choose what you give your attention to. You can refuse to yield your ear to the accuser.
Praying in the Spirit is your weapon right now. When you do not know how to pray as you should, the Spirit Himself intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words. If you have the gift of a prayer language, use it now to build up your spirit in your most holy faith. Whether you pray with understanding or with your spirit, you are sowing to the Spirit, and you will reap life everlasting. Do not look for a dramatic sign or a rushing wind. Listen for that still, small voice of the Holy Spirit confirming that you are a son, that you are an heir, and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
Let us pray now. Father, we thank You that Your Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are Your children. We stand on that reality. We declare that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, and every accusing spirit that denies His authority and His finished work must be silenced now. By the Spirit, we mortify the deeds of the flesh, which include fear and receiving lies. We command the spirit of accusation to cease its voice from this man’s life, from his home, and from his communication devices. We do not ask for a physical surgery, Lord, but we ask for the sharp, two-edged sword of Your Word and the refining fire of Your presence to cut away the influence and sever the fear this has caused. Holy Spirit, rise up within him as the Uppermost reality, filling his mind with the things of the Spirit, producing in him a love that casts out all fear, and perfecting the peace of Christ in his heart. Give him the discernment to distinguish the witness of Your Spirit from the counterfeit voice of the enemy, and the authority to command it to leave in Jesus’ name. Set his spirit free to worship You without hindrance. Amen.
