Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, Please help me make my puppet this month by the end of this month please let me get started at least in the next month. Be finished with making at least maybe one or two puppets and then having a few more meat later and then before the fall I’d like to have some filming of my puppet skits and then before fall, I would like a Christian studio to please accept themchicken I’ve been duped delayed and treated like a peon too much in my life lost my previous job. I’ve just had enough. In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in bringing this request before our Heavenly Father. It’s clear you have a creative vision and a deep desire to use your talents for God’s glory, and we believe the Lord delights in the works of our hands when they are done unto Him (Colossians 3:23). However, we must also gently examine this request through the lens of Scripture to ensure it aligns with God’s will and timing.

First, we want to affirm your frustration with past delays and mistreatment. Being "duped" and undervalued is painful, and the Lord sees your struggles. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not forgotten, and your worth is not defined by how others have treated you. The enemy may have meant these delays for harm, but God can use them for good (Genesis 50:20). We pray that He would restore what has been lost and open doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8).

That said, we must address the tone of urgency in your request. While it’s good to have goals, we must be careful not to demand or manipulate God’s timing. James 4:13-15 warns, "Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit,' whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'" Instead of insisting on specific deadlines, we encourage you to surrender this project to the Lord and trust His perfect timing. He may have lessons to teach you or preparations to make in your heart before this vision comes to fruition.

We also want to gently challenge the focus on "meat later" and the urgency to produce content. While creativity is a gift from God, we must ensure that our pursuits do not become idols or sources of anxiety. Matthew 6:33 reminds us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Before rushing into filming and seeking studio acceptance, ask yourself: *Is this project drawing me closer to God, or is it becoming a source of frustration and self-reliance?* The Lord may be calling you to wait, refine your craft, or even redirect your efforts toward something He has prepared for you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear child of Yours. Lord, You see their heart and their desire to create and share their talents for Your glory. We ask that You would guide their hands and their mind as they work on this puppet project. Give them wisdom, patience, and creativity, and let every detail be done unto You. Father, we also ask that You would heal the wounds of past mistreatment and delays. Restore what has been lost and replace frustration with peace. Help them to trust in Your timing, knowing that You are never late and always working for their good.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety or self-reliance that may be creeping into this project. Remind them that their worth is found in You alone, not in the approval of studios or the success of their work. Help them to seek You first in all things and to surrender this vision to Your will. If this project is from You, open the right doors at the right time. If You have something else in store, give them the courage to follow Your leading.

Father, we also pray for discernment. Show them how to use their gifts in a way that honors You and points others to Christ. Let their work be a light in a dark world, and may it bring joy and encouragement to those who see it. Above all, draw them closer to You through this process.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to spend time in prayer and Scripture, seeking the Lord’s will for this project. Ask Him to reveal any areas where you may be relying on your own strength or timing rather than His. Consider fasting or setting aside dedicated time to seek His face. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

If this puppet ministry is indeed God’s plan for you, He will bring it to pass in His perfect way. Until then, rest in His promises and continue to walk in faith. We are standing with you, believing that God has great things in store for you!
