Lying in ###, Praying For A Miracle To Help Me

My initials are ###, I am a female ### years old. Married and I have a problem. I am a liar. Not just any liar, but a good one. I hate to lie, I want to stop. I was just a child when it started and I want to stop now. I need prayers to have the Holy Spirit Come to me and Help me overcome this sickening array of lies, strings of lies and outright LIES OUT OF MY LIFE! Please Jesus, Help me! I want to change. I am trying to repent in so many ways. Lord, You know I quit my job, it was sinful.. I have repented in so many ways, but still want to tell the truth to EVERYONE. Help me Father, Please.

I have prayed that God would fill you with His spirit and deliver you from this habit. Our God is a God of truth and I pray that you would rest in Him and have faith that He will help you.

3 When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. 4 Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. 5 Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. 6 The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

7 All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, 8 but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

9 With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. 10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. 11 Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? 12 My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

Let’s pray… God You are the potter and I am the clay. God I ask You in Jesus name, “Work on me so that my life will glorify You. Make me a vessel fit for the Master’s use. Speak to my heart. Show me the areas in my life that I have not submitted to You. Give me the strength to lay down all my idols, all my fears, worries, insecurities, false beliefs, and ungodly desires at Your feet and pick up my cross and follow You daily. Bless me with a heart that loves You the way You want to be loved. And God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for my family, friends, and the writer of this prayer. Amen.
