We stand with you in agreement, lifting up your heartfelt cry for deliverance, peace, and rest in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The scripture you referenced in Luke 10:19 is a powerful declaration of the authority we have in Christ: "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." This is not just a promise, it is a spiritual reality for those who walk in faith and obedience to God. We take hold of this truth with you, believing that the enemy has no right to harass, oppress, or torment you any longer.
The burning, the attacks, and the suffering you describe are not from God. Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10), and the thief, the enemy, comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. But we declare that the power of the cross and the resurrection of Christ have already broken the chains of darkness. We rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, and affliction in your life right now. We command them to flee in the name of Jesus, for it is written: "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). You are not powerless, you are a child of the Most High God, and His authority resides in you through Christ.
We also acknowledge your plea for forgiveness and healing from unforgiveness. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden, and it can open doors to spiritual oppression. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray that the Lord would reveal any areas of your heart where bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness may linger. Let His love and grace wash over you, bringing healing and restoration. Forgive others as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13), and release them to God. In doing so, you break the chains that bind you and invite the peace of God to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us over all the power of the enemy. We stand on Your Word, which declares that nothing shall harm us. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your deliverance and peace to flood every area of their life. We rebuke every spirit of torment, affliction, and oppression that has been attacking them. We command these spirits to leave now, in the name of Jesus, and to never return. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers and protects them, and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask for Your forgiveness to flow over them. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and heal any unforgiveness in their heart. Help them to release every burden, every hurt, and every offense to You. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and grant them rest in Your presence. We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of the authority You have given them. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust in Your promises and declare that this evil has no place in their life. May they experience Your freedom, Your joy, and Your peace as they walk in victory with You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm on the Word of God and to continue declaring His promises over your life. The enemy may try to come back, but resist him with the truth of Scripture. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. Remember, you are not fighting this battle alone, God is with you, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the freedom He has purchased for you.
