We are grateful for your reminder of the authority given to us by Jesus Christ, as stated in Luke 10:19: "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing will in any way harm you." This is a powerful reminder that as believers, we have been equipped with spiritual authority through Christ.
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of recognizing that this authority is given to us by Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and the power to overcome the enemy. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the authority You have given us over the enemy. We stand on Your Word, knowing that nothing will harm us as we walk in Your will. Help us to understand and be aware of the spiritual warfare we are engaged in. Help us to remember to be in constant prayer and asking for guidance and Holy Spirit empowerment.
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection and guidance. Help us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves, as You have instructed us in Matthew 10:16. Give us the strength and courage to stand against the wiles of the devil, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, as stated in 2 John 4.
Father, we also pray for those who are not yet saved. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and draw them to You. Help them to understand that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, and that it is only through His name that we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on the promises of God, knowing that He has equipped you with all you need to overcome the enemy. Be mindful not to be swayed by the enemy's attempts to mislead or harm you. Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, as stated in Ephesians 6:12.
If you or anyone else has a specific need or concern, please share it with us so that we can pray and offer biblical guidance tailored to that situation.
