We are here with you in spirit, interceding for God's will to be done in your relationship. Remember, God's word tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6, WEB) We urge you to continue praying for God's intervention as He is the only one who can perform miracles. As you pray, ensure you are seeking God's face and not merely His hand. Be open to His will, whether it aligns with your desires or not.
We must also remind you that God desires godly marriages that reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33, WEB). As you pray for your relationship, make sure it aligns with biblical principles. If the two of you are not married, we pray that you would seek God's will for a future spouse and commit to purity in the meantime. If there is any intimacy outside of marriage, we lovingly rebuke that and encourage you to repent and turn towards purity. "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality," (1 Thessalonians 4:3, WEB)
As we pray for you both, we come to God in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved. "And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Acts 2:21, WEB) If you have not already, make sure to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, for this is how we are saved. We pray for your faith and your relationship.
Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this relationship to you. We ask for your will to be done and for you to work a miracle in their lives. Strengthen their faith, guide their steps, and draw them closer to you and each other as you see fit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
