Low Iron and breathing issues anxiety

Phierdordor

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my health issues. I am anxious from having breathing issues, lost my hair all from low iron. I’ve been seeing a dr but it’s not lifting. ### Thank you in Advance

We hear your cry for help, dear sister or brother in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion. The physical struggles you describe, low iron, breathing difficulties, hair loss, and the anxiety that accompanies them, are heavy burdens to carry. We know the Lord sees your suffering and invites you to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). It is not His will for you to walk through this valley alone, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that He will sustain you and bring healing according to His perfect timing.

First, we want to encourage you to continue seeking wise medical counsel, as the body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God often works through the hands of physicians. However, we also recognize that true peace and restoration come from the Lord, who is our Great Physician. The anxiety you feel is real, but we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let us pray together for your complete healing, body, mind, and spirit.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our beloved brother or sister who is suffering. Lord, You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we ask that You would touch their body and restore what has been weakened. Strengthen their blood, Lord, and replenish their iron levels so that their strength may return. Ease their breathing, Father, and calm the anxiety that grips their heart. Let them feel Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We also pray for wisdom for their doctors, that You would guide their hands and minds to provide the care and treatment needed. Give our brother or sister patience and trust in Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Remind them, Lord, that even in their weakness, Your strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). Surround them with Your presence, comfort them with Your love, and fill them with hope as they wait on You.

We rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that the joy of the Lord is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and we speak life and healing over their body in Jesus’ mighty name. May they find rest in You, Lord, and may their faith grow as they see Your hand at work in their life.

In the midst of this trial, we encourage you to draw near to God, for He promises to draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in His Word, allowing it to renew your mind and fill you with hope. Meditate on verses like Psalm 34:18-19: "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Let these truths anchor your soul.

We also encourage you to lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ. Share your burdens with your church family, for we are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Isolation can make anxiety worse, but fellowship with believers can bring comfort and encouragement. Let others pray for you, speak life over you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that your hope is not in medicine, doctors, or even the prayers of others, though these are good and necessary, but in the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, trusting in His sacrifice on the cross for your salvation and healing. If you have any doubts or questions about your relationship with Christ, we would love to walk with you through that journey as well.

You are not forgotten, dear one. The Lord sees you, He hears you, and He is working even now. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will carry you through this season. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring breakthrough and restoration. May His peace, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for letting us carry this with you in prayer. Living with breathing difficulties and hair loss while your iron stays stubbornly low is deeply unsettling. It is completely normal to feel anxious when your body isn’t cooperating, and that anxiety can make breathing feel even tighter and the waiting heavier.

We are grateful you are under a doctor’s care, and we want to stand with you as you keep pressing forward. When progress feels invisible, it can be easy to lose heart. One thing you might consider is a direct conversation with your doctor about how the anxiety itself is affecting you day to day, not just the physical symptoms but the emotional weight. Sometimes addressing that alongside the physical treatment can help things move in a better direction. It is not a lack of faith to be honest about what you are carrying.

In the middle of the slow work of healing, please know you are not forgotten. We are holding you up with love, asking God to steady your heart and strengthen your body in the ways that matter right now.

Jesus, we bring our friend before you, weary and worried. Calm their anxious breathing and let them feel your nearness right now. Give their doctor sharp insight and steady their body’s systems to begin responding well. Restore what has been depleted, ease the fear that comes with each shallow breath, and renew hope that is stretched thin. We trust you in the waiting. Amen.

The breath falters and the hair falls, and the heart within you trembles under the weight of it. Yet what has anxiety ever brought to the mill, or what meal has it ever added to the barrel? The very worrying over the difficulty unfits the soul to meet it. You say the doctor has not lifted it, and this presses upon you. But is the iron in your valley so strong that it cannot be broken? Chariots of iron struck fear into Judah, not because iron is stronger than God, but because their faith failed them at the valley floor. They trusted Him for the hills, but not for the iron. Beware of being a picker and chooser of promises, believing for small things but not for this low iron, this shortness of breath. If the Lord is your confidence, then chariots of iron or chariots of fire are but ciphers in the calculation against an Omnipotent God.

The soul is the place from whence are the issues of life. His Gospel touches the root of the soul's ill. Before He has done with you, He can make these very broken bones to rejoice. The northern iron and the steel, that which is hardest and most firm, is not the iron in your blood, but the indomitable spirit God can forge within you by His grace. Common iron cannot break it, and neither can bodily weakness overwhelm a soul stayed upon Him. Let your cry be, "Quicken me after thy lovingkindness," and He will bend over your frame with pity, wisdom, power, and condescension.

I have prayed for you at the Mercy Seat. Look away from the ebbing strength and unto Him who raises the lowly. The gray hairs of anxiety and fear mark a declension of soul from right walking with God. Ask Him to deliver you from what they indicate, that even in physical weakness you may prove the steel of His upholding hand, for Jesus' sake.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
