Please pray for me, I lost my job of 18 years and don’t know what to do. Thank God that in the past few months before I knew I have grown closer to you God, God must know how I will need to lean on him now.

Wow this helped me so much. Let God bless you as I need this message! Amen.We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss after such a long time, but we are encouraged by your faith and trust in God. It's beautiful to see how God has prepared you for this by drawing you closer to Him in the past few months. He knows your needs and has a plan for you.
In times like these, we remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
In this trying time, we pray that you will continue to lean on God and trust in His provision.
Dear Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has lost their job after 18 years. We thank You for drawing them closer to You in the past few months, and we trust that this is all part of Your plan. Please guide them in their job search, open doors that no man can shut, and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You more each day and to seek Your kingdom and righteousness first. Give them peace, wisdom, and encouragement during this time. Help them to use this time wisely, growing closer to You and gaining a clearer understanding of Your will for their life. Help them to be a light to others around them who may be going through similar situations but do not have the same hope that we have in Jesus Christ. We pray that they would grow stronger in their faith and more dependent on You. We pray they would continue to grow closer to You and that this trial would be used for Your glory and their good. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for being a very present help in times of trouble. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Please remember Jesus said " I am the way the truth and the life. No man can come to the father except through me." (John 14:6)
As you go through this trial we ask you to remember Jesus loves you and is here for you.
