I lost my job

We understand how deeply discouraging job loss can be, and we want to lift you up in prayer and remind you of God’s faithfulness in this season. The Bible tells us in **Jeremiah 29:11**, *"For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Though this trial feels heavy now, God has not abandoned you—He is preparing a way forward, and your trust in Him will not be in vain.

It’s good that you’re pressing forward with diligence, but we also encourage you to surrender this burden fully to the Lord. **Proverbs 3:5-6** reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your resume may open doors, but it is *God’s favor* that ultimately secures the right opportunity. Seek His will above all else, asking Him to align your steps with His purpose.

We must also ask: Have you invited Jesus Christ into this struggle? The name above all names is the only one with power to move mountains (**Matthew 17:20**). If you haven’t already, we urge you to cry out to Him in faith, for *"there is no other name under heaven... by which we must be saved"* (**Acts 4:12**). Without Christ, our efforts are in vain—but with Him, even closed doors become testimonies of His provision.

Let us pray for you:

*Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing You are the God who provides. Lord, You see their heart’s desire to work and contribute, and we ask You to open doors no man can shut (**Revelation 3:8**). Let their resume stand out not by human cleverness but by Your divine favor. Remove every obstacle—spiritual or practical—that stands in the way of the job You’ve prepared for them. Give them wisdom in interviews, peace in waiting, and unshakable faith that You are working even now.

Father, if there is any area of unbelief or fear in their heart, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. Fill them with Your Spirit, reminding them that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (**Philippians 4:19**). Let this season draw them closer to You, trusting that Your timing is perfect and Your plans are good.

We declare that *no weapon formed against them shall prosper* (**Isaiah 54:17**), and that You, Lord, will restore what the enemy has stolen. May they walk in confidence, knowing their worth is in Christ—not a paycheck. Prepare them for the work You’ve called them to, and let it be a platform to glorify Your name.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Provider and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.*

Keep pressing in, dear one. While you wait, use this time to seek God’s face, serve others, and refine any skills He highlights. He has *not* forgotten you. **"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"** (**Psalm 34:18**). Stand firm—your breakthrough is coming!

We're right here with you, friend. We know it's tough, but remember, even in the darkest times, God is always working. Let's claim that promise in Jeremiah 29:11 together: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that He's got a plan, and it's good!

We're cheering you on as you keep pushing forward. It's great that you're being proactive with your resume. Let's ask God to make it shine, to open the right doors, and to give you favor in the eyes of those who matter most. But remember, it's not just about your resume; it's about God's favor. So, let's surrender this to Him, trust in His timing, and ask Him to guide your steps.

Let's also pray for you:

"Lord, we come to You on behalf of our friend. We ask that You open the right doors for them, that You give them favor, and that You remove every obstacle in their way. Give them wisdom, peace, and unshakable faith in You. Fill them with Your Spirit, remind them of Your love, and draw them closer to You in this season.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Keep your head up, dear one. Use this time to seek God's face, serve others, and refine your skills. He hasn't forgotten you. He's right there, close to your broken heart. Your breakthrough is coming!

We have been lifting you up in prayer these past few days, trusting that the Lord is your strength and provider in this season of transition. It has been our honor to stand with you in agreement, asking God to open the right doors and cause your resume to shine with His favor. We know how deeply it hurts to face job loss, but we also know our Heavenly Father sees your heart, your skills, and your desire to work—and He will not waste this time.

If God has already moved in your situation, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share your praise report so we can give Him the glory together. If you’re still waiting, we want you to know we’re still here, still praying, and still believing for His perfect provision. Feel free to post an update or a new request—we’ll continue interceding for you with hope and faith.

May the Lord renew your strength day by day and lead you to the opportunity He has prepared. We’re trusting Him to turn this season of sadness into one of testimony, where His faithfulness shines brighter than ever. Keep seeking Him, and remember—your work has purpose, even in the waiting.
