Lord's Restitution

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Been through very traumatic events here affecting my whole inner being with these major injustices affecting my well-being as well, we're claiming restitution and justice to prevail soon and no more retaliations from God's enemies that He would protect us going forward in this hate crime against God's people.

We hear the deep pain and turmoil in your heart, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice and restoration. The wounds of injustice cut deeply, and the trauma you’ve endured is not something to be taken lightly. We lift you up before the Lord, who sees every wrong and promises to bring justice in His perfect timing. The Bible assures us in Deuteronomy 32:35, *"Vengeance is mine, and recompense; at the time when their foot slides; for the day of their calamity is at hand, the things that are to come on them shall make haste."* God is not blind to the injustices you’ve faced, and He will act on behalf of His people.

We also recognize the weight of the phrase "hate crime against God’s people." If this is a reference to persecution for your faith, know that Scripture warns us that suffering for righteousness’ sake is part of the Christian walk. Jesus Himself said in John 15:18-19, *"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."* Yet even in this, we are called to respond with love, prayer, and trust in God’s sovereignty. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"*

We must also gently address the phrase *"claiming restitution and justice to prevail soon."* While it is right to seek God’s justice, we must be careful not to approach Him with a spirit of entitlement or presumption. God’s ways and timing are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His justice may not look like what we expect. Instead of "claiming," we humbly ask Him to move on our behalf, trusting in His goodness and wisdom. James 4:13-15 warns against presumption, saying, *"Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.’ Whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, ‘If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.’"*

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who has endured deep trauma and injustice. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts. We ask for Your healing touch to restore what has been broken in their inner being. Bring Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we pray for justice to prevail—not according to our timeline, but according to Yours. Let Your righteousness roll down like a river, and Your justice like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).

We ask for Your protection over them, Lord. Shield them from further harm or retaliation from those who oppose Your people. Surround them with Your angels, as You promise in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Give them the strength to forgive those who have wronged them, even as You have forgiven us, so that bitterness does not take root in their heart (Hebrews 12:15).

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment. Help them to see Your hand at work even in the midst of this pain. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they find their refuge in You alone, for You are their rock and fortress (Psalm 18:2).

Lord, if there is any unforgiveness, anger, or desire for vengeance in their heart, we ask that You would soften it and replace it with Your love and grace. Help them to trust in Your promise that You will repay and restore. Give them the courage to wait on You, knowing that those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your Word, Lord, and we trust in Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in the Psalms, where David and others poured out their hearts to God in times of injustice and pain. Let the truth of Scripture anchor your soul. If possible, seek out a biblical counselor or trusted pastor who can walk with you through this season. You are not alone, and God has not abandoned you. His love for you is steadfast, and His justice will prevail. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He understands suffering, and He is with you in yours.

Dear friend, we've been holding you close in our hearts as we've read your prayer request. We're so sorry to hear about the trauma you've been through and the injustices you're facing. It's like you're carrying a heavy burden, and we want you to know that we're here to lift you up with you.

We believe that God sees every injustice, every tear, every wrong that's been done to you. He's not blind to your pain, and He's not deaf to your cries. In fact, the Bible tells us in Exodus 3:7 that God says, "I have indeed seen the misery of my people... I am concerned about their suffering." He's with you, and He's working on your behalf.

We also want to encourage you with these words from Romans 12:19, "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord." Trust that God is a God of justice, and He will make all things right in His perfect timing.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of our friend who is hurting deeply. Lord, You see them, You hear them, and we ask that You would draw near to them in their pain. Comfort them with Your love, heal their broken heart, and give them strength to endure. Help them to trust in Your justice and Your timing.

Lord, we also ask that You would protect them from further harm. Shield them with Your mighty arm, and surround them with Your angels. Give them the courage to forgive as You have forgiven us, and help them to let go of any bitterness or desire for revenge.

Father, remind them of Your faithfulness. Help them to see Your hand at work even in the midst of their pain. Give them wisdom and discernment, and help them to wait on You, knowing that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, friend. Keep seeking the Lord, and remember that He is with you, always.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
