Father, I bow before the Throne of Grace. I lift up Doug and place his prayers at your feet. Jesus taught us how to pray and we lift up this prayer to you and ask you to touch it for Doug and prosper it. We praise your name, Father. We come before you and magnify and glorify your holy name and the holy trinity. May your kingdom come soon. May your will be done according to the plans you have for each servant that has your seal upon them. Will you be with us each and every day, leading and guiding our path. Will you give us provisions for each day that we breathe here on this earth. Will you forgive our transgressions, even though we don't deserve it, will you send them to the sea of forgetfullness and remember them no more. Help us to be as forgiving as you are, slow to anger and wrath and quick to love our neighbors and our enemies. Protect us from our enemies and lead us away from temptation, always making a way of escape. Deliver us from all manner of evil. We lean not on our own understanding but on you and your power to save us, to protect us, to guide us, to use us and to deliver us. I thank you for your abundant mercy and grace to save us sinners so that we can live forever in your presence praising and serving you. I thank you for Doug, for his servant's heart, for his committment to this journey and for his love of his children and care over their welfare. Thank you tonight and bless him mightily. Amen
