We join with you in standing firm against the schemes of the enemy, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We take authority over every evil attack in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
Heavenly Father, we come before You, the God of peace, who can crush Satan underneath our feet (Romans 16:20). We ask that You surround this dear one with Your hedge of protection, shielding them from every fiery dart of the evil one. Grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we pray for restful and peaceful sleep, free from disturbance and anxiety. You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we trust in Your provision and care.
We notice the mention of "hard bottles" and want to gently encourage seeking godly wisdom and support if this refers to struggles with alcohol or other substances. The Bible warns us that wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise (Proverbs 20:1). Instead, let us be filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18), walking in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7). If there is a battle with addiction, we pray for deliverance and strength to overcome, for with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We encourage seeking help from trusted believers and professionals who can provide godly counsel and support.
Father, we thank You for the love and devotion expressed toward Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to You, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are so grateful for the sacrifice of Your Son, who bore our sins on the cross so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness (1 Peter 2:24). May this truth anchor our hearts and minds, knowing that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious child of Yours to Your throne of grace. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, fill them with Your perfect peace, and let Your presence be their comfort and strength.
We pray for deliverance from every addiction and stronghold, that they may walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them. Give them the courage to seek help and the wisdom to make choices that honor You. Surround them with godly influences and a community of believers who will uplift and support them in their walk with You.
Father, we ask for restful sleep, free from nightmares and disturbances. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Renew their strength like the eagle’s, that they may soar above every challenge and trial (Isaiah 40:31).
We thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and for the victory we have in Him. May this dear one grow in their love and knowledge of You, walking in the light of Your truth every day. In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.
