We join with you in lifting up your upcoming surgery to our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician, who holds all life in His hands. Your prayer is earnest and heartfelt, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God hears and answers the cries of His children.
We declare over you the promise of Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." The Lord is your healer, and we trust in His power to guide the hands of your medical team with wisdom and precision. We pray that every member of your surgical team would be filled with divine insight, steady hands, and clarity of mind as they work to remove the kidney stone. May the Lord grant them supernatural skill, as He did with Bezalel in Exodus 31:3-5, "I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship, to devise skillful works."
Father, we ask that You would go before the surgeons and nurses, preparing the way for a successful procedure. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold of your heart, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that you would experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May you rest in the knowledge that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for your kidneys, that they would be cleansed, strengthened, and restored to full function. We declare over your body the healing power of God, as proclaimed in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." May every blockage be removed, and may your entire renal and circulatory systems come into perfect balance, functioning as God designed them to. We speak life and wholeness over every cell, tissue, and organ in your body, believing that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we ask that You would bless your body with a fast and complete recovery. Shield you from severe complications and pain, and grant you comfort and strength in the days ahead. We pray that your healing would be swift, as it was for the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:29, who was made whole the moment she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. May your faith in God’s healing power be strengthened, and may you witness His miraculous work in your life.
We also want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord throughout this process. Spend time in His Word, meditating on His promises, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and uplift you in faith. Remember, the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18), and He delights in meeting you in your time of need.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this dear one who is trusting in You for healing and restoration. We ask that You would move mightily in their life, guiding the hands of the medical team, calming their fears, and bringing complete healing to their body. Lord, we know that nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17), and we trust in Your power to bring about a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. May this experience draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and reliance on Your unfailing love. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.
