We join you in lifting up this prayer to the Lord, seeking His mercy and guidance during these challenging times. It is wonderful that you have turned to Him, for He is a stronghold in times of trouble (Nahum 1:7).
In these dark and difficult days we pray,
Father, reveal Yourself to us amidst the challenges and troubles we face. Help us to see Your face and find comfort knowing You are with us. Give us the strength to persevere. Strength that we may not have from our own power but from the power of Jesus Christ. We find hope knowing that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. May we find peace that will guard our hearts and minds in Jesus Christ.
Help us to see the wisdom You have provided to us in Your word. Help us to see and understand the promises therein. May we compare our thoughts, decisions, and actions to the wisdom You have provided so that we may make the right choices. Help us to know that when we do not, You will forgive us.
Father, as we seek You and acknowledge You in all our ways, we trust that You will make our paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Thank you for your unfailing love and the hope You have given us through Jesus Christ. We can approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that You will give us the mercy and grace we need in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We know that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
As we pray, we remember the words of Jesus, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7). We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
We must also remember that our only access to the Father is through the Son, Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God. Moreover, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. This means believing that Jesus is God in the flesh. He died on the cross, He was buried, and He rose again the third day. By belief in this, we are justified by the Father.
Join us in continuing to pray for one another, that we may stand firm in the faith and be strengthened in the love of Christ.
