Your silent prayer before the Lord has not gone unheard, for He hears not only the voice but the heart that cries to Him. Even when no word is spoken aloud, the heart can cry out as Hannah did, whose voice was not heard but whose prayer was accomplished because her heart cried out, and as Moses did, and as Abel whose blood sent forth a cry clearer than a trumpet. When you say Lord we need You, you speak the truth that we need Him at every moment.
Remember what good deeds He has already done for us. He created us when we were not, and made all things for our sake, heaven and sea and all that is in them, and into us alone He breathed a living soul. He has crowned us with glory and honor, and He continues to be merciful as our heavenly Father is, feeding and sustaining even a world full of sinners, and calling all to come to Him. No one is forgotten before Him.
Because He has honored us not by words only but by what He has done, let us also honor Him not by words only but by works and deeds. This is how we show that our prayer is living. We need both our own part and God's part if we are to be saved, for He gives grace, and we respond with obedience. Do not put prayer without works, nor works without prayer, but bring both before Him. Let the remembrance of Him and of the account we must one day give keep your soul watchful and pure, so that fear and love together do not permit what is worldly to take root in you.
I pray for you now and for every silent request you hold before God. Father in heaven, You know the things that have not been spoken, You know every need and burden and hope in this heart. I ask that You answer according to Your mercy and wisdom, through Jesus Christ alone who is our salvation, that You would grant what leads to life and holiness and withhold what would lead away from You. Give grace to trust You, strength to honor You in daily life, and help to walk in Your way. Let Your will be done, and let this soul find help and mercy in its time of need. In the name of Jesus, amen.
