Guide ### Lord in the direction of righteousness teach her that running away is not the answer. I pray she return home safely today. In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen

We join our hearts with yours in fervent prayer for the safe return of your grandsons and their little sister. The fear and uncertainty you must be feeling are heavy, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting them up in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and find mercy and help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

Father God, we cry out to You as the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one that is lost (Luke 15:4-6). You know the whereabouts of these precious children, and we ask that You surround them with Your holy angels to protect them from harm, fear, and any who would seek to do them wrong. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of rebellion and deception that may have led this young sister to run away. Your Word declares, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right" (Ephesians 6:1), and we pray that this truth would penetrate her heart. Soften her spirit, Lord, and let conviction lead her to repentance and a desire to return home.

We pray for wisdom and discernment for the authorities and all those involved in the search. Guide their steps, Lord, as You guided the servant of Elisha to see the heavenly host surrounding them (2 Kings 6:17). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of this family as they wait (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against these children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we speak their safe return home even now, in Jesus' mighty name.

Father, we also lift up the parents and guardians of these children. Strengthen them with Your might and fill them with hope as they trust in You. Remind them that You are a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the weak (Psalm 68:5). Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we ask that You would use this situation to draw this family closer to You. Let this trial be a catalyst for spiritual growth and a deeper reliance on Your promises. May the children come to know You as their Savior and the One who never leaves nor forsakes them (Deuteronomy 31:6). We pray for a hedge of protection around this family, that no evil would befall them, and that Your will would be done in each of their lives.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His authority that we make these petitions. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect timing. Amen.

Hold fast to the promise found in Jeremiah 29:13-14: "You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart. I will be found by you," says Yahweh. God is not far from these children, and He is actively working to bring them home. Continue to pray without ceasing, and encourage the family to do the same. In times of waiting, it is easy to grow weary, but remember that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). Stand on God's Word and declare His promises over this situation. We will continue to pray alongside you for their safe return.

We are holding your family in our hearts right now. The ache of not knowing where a child is can swallow everything else, and we are so sorry you are walking through this. Even in the not knowing, you are not alone. Your cry for God’s help is the most honest prayer there is, and he hears you.

As you continue to lean into prayer, we want to gently encourage you to also lean into the practical help around you. Make sure you have contacted local authorities and given them a recent, clear photo and any details about where she might go or who she might be with. Alert your church family and neighbors, too, let them be your eyes and ears while you wait.

In the meantime, try to anchor yourself in small, steady moments of care. Eat something, get a little rest, and let safe people sit with you in the quiet. Fear can make us feel we must do everything at once, but sometimes the most faithful thing you can do right now is simply to keep breathing and trust that God sees her at this moment, even when you cannot.

Father, we lift up this precious child to you. Surround her with your protection wherever she is. Soften her heart toward home, and guide anyone who might find her to act with kindness and urgency. Give her mother wisdom and a spirit of gentleness. Hold this grandmother, calm her anxious thoughts, steady her hope, and bring this little one back safely today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your heart has ascended beyond these rafters, and it is well that you have laid hold upon the Almighty in this hour of trial. When a child goes astray, the Enemy would have us cast down in despair, but faith bids us lift our eyes to the hills, from whence comes our help. Your grandsons’ little sister is not beyond the reach of the Shepherd’s crook. Remember, it is the very nature of our Lord to seek and to save that which is lost, and He has a tender regard for the young. The holy Child, Jesus, knows the waywardness of youth, yet He ever welcomes the returning prodigal.

As you pray, be as the weaned child of whom the Psalmist speaks, quieting your soul, ceasing from fretfulness, and lying still upon the bosom of covenant love. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, nor is He deaf to the pleadings of a believing heart. Let your request be made known with thanksgiving, as you have done, and then trust the issue entirely into those hands which were once nailed to the tree for sinners. He who heard the groaning of Hagar’s son in the wilderness will surely hearken to the cry on behalf of this wandering one.

Yet, while you look up, do not sin against the child by failing to be the voice that cries, “Return, return!” Let your life speak, let your letters and your words be the echoes of divine entreaty. The instincts of nature and the promptings of grace both plead, “Do not sin against the child,” but rather entreat her as one who longs for her safety. Pray that the Holy Spirit would make the way of the transgressor hard, that she may find no rest until she returns to the paths of righteousness. It is mercy that hedges up the way with thorns when the broad road leads to destruction.

Should the Lord grant her a speedy return, as we humbly hope, then let there be joy such as heaven feels over one sinner that repents. But if this darkness lingers a little while, remember that even the child of light may walk in shadows. His timing is not ours, yet His covenant is sure. The mother of Samuel travailed in prayer before she held her son. Continue in that high duty; the God of the family will not despise your travail. Soon, may the day dawn when this lamb is carried home rejoicing, and better still, folded in the arms of the Good Shepherd for eternity.

The cry of your heart has ascended before the throne of grace, and He who hears the groaning of the prisoners has heard your prayer. Do not think that because the answer delays, God is indifferent. Consider how Gamaliel, that doctor of the law, spoke wisdom to the council when the apostles were threatened: “If this work be of men, it will come to naught; but if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it.” So it is with this child’s wandering. If the enemy has lured her away, his schemes shall crumble under the weight of your prayers. The Lord of hosts is mustering His angels; He sends forth light and truth to guide her steps back to the habitation of safety.

Do not let fear become a second adversary, assailing your faith while you wait. Remember the father of the prodigal; he did not run after the son into the far country, but waited with steadfast hope, and when the boy returned broken and hungry, the father ran to meet him. Your granddaughter is even now pursued by the goodness of God, not by human anxiety. The same Savior who spoke to the raging sea and commanded the winds to cease is speaking to her in the silence of her flight: “Return, O wanderer, to the place of your Father’s care.” Only let your faith be anchored, and do not let the storm of doubt wash away your confidence. The prayer of the righteous avails much, and a grandmother’s intercession is not forgotten before the altar of heaven.

Now, you have asked that she be found safe and returned quickly, and that the Lord would guide her into righteousness and teach her that running away is not the answer. That is a petition full of wisdom. But add this to it: that she might learn not only the foolishness of her action, but the sweetness of repentance. The world says punishment is merely for vengeance, but the apostle reminds us that even the solemn discipline of sin is intended for restoration, not destruction, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Pray therefore that whatever hedge of thorns He places in her path may prick her conscience unto a godly sorrow that leads to life, not to despair. He who brought the rebellious Hebrews through the wilderness did not abandon them to their lusts, but disciplined them as sons, that they might hunger for the true manna.

Offer for her also the sacrifice of a quiet and trusting heart, and with it the alms and fastings that testify to your earnestness. Do not say, “Her heart is too hard.” Is anything too hard for the Lord? He who turned the heart of Paul, the raging persecutor, into Paul the apostle, can soften the stubborn will of a child. He who gave back the son of the widow of Nain from the bier can restore the lost affection of your household. Stand therefore in the breach, like Moses praying for Israel when they had turned to the golden calf, and expect to see the salvation of God. Until that hour, let patience possess your soul, and do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you shall reap if you faint not. The angels that behold the face of the Father are commissioned to watch over the little ones; entrust her to their unseen ministry, and to the Shepherd who seeks the one sheep until He finds it.
