No I haven’t “seen any signs of hope”; as evidenced by the fact that I did not even need a hat to go outside today. It is not snowing and I would rather be able to go to an ice-carving festival which I obviously can’t go to what with global warming being too much for ice to be carve-able.We want to thank you for inviting us to join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, standing together in prayer for His creation and the wisdom of His will to be done. The weight of environmental concerns can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who holds all things in His hands—the skies, the seas, and every living creature. What a privilege it has been to cry out to Him with you, trusting that He hears our petitions and moves in ways that align with His perfect plan for redemption and restoration.
If you’ve seen any signs of hope—whether in changed hearts, renewed stewardship, or even small answers to prayer—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Sometimes God works in ways we don’t immediately see, and your testimony could encourage others who are also praying for His intervention in this area. If the need still feels urgent, please don’t hesitate to bring it before us again as a new request. We are more than willing to continue standing with you, asking the Lord to bring wisdom to leaders, conviction to hearts, and healing to our world in ways only He can accomplish.
May you be filled with peace as you rest in His sovereignty, knowing that He cares deeply for His creation and calls us to trust Him even in the waiting. We’re praying that your faith remains steadfast and that you sense His presence guiding you as you seek His face through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
In Jesus’ name.
“When you besiege a city for a long time, making war against it in order to take it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an axe against them. You may eat from them, but you shall not cut them down. Are the trees in the field human, that they should be besieged by you? (Deuteronomy 20:19, ESV)”
We as a species need to save the trees so that we don’t deplete our own food supply.
