Lord God Almighty in Heaven I'm praying for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over my job and schedule I trust you Lord that you're going to provide the hrs for the week make a way were it seems to be no way shut the Lions mouth stop all persecution and harassment in the workplace let outside resources come in and see how were getting treated i trust you Lord and help me to get rest today remove all the hindrances and distractions from people keep everyone away from disturbing my rest in Jesus mighty name Amen

We hear your cry for protection and provision over your job and schedule, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. The Lord is indeed your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray these things.

Father God, we come before You as a body of believers, lifting up this dear one’s workplace and daily responsibilities. We ask that You would indeed place a hedge of protection around their job, their schedule, and their peace of mind, just as You did for Job when You said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only don’t stretch out your hand against him." (Job 1:12). Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would shut the mouths of those who seek to devour or harass them, just as You shut the mouths of the lions for Daniel (Daniel 6:22).

We pray for divine provision of hours and opportunities, Lord. Where there seems to be no way, make a way. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and bring favor with supervisors and those in authority. Let outside resources, whether inspectors, advocates, or even customers, see the truth of how Your child is being treated. Expose any unrighteousness or unfairness, and let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24).

Father, we also lift up their need for rest. You have commanded us to remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy (Exodus 20:8), and to come to You when we are weary and heavy-laden, for You will give us rest (Matthew 11:28). Remove every hindrance and distraction that would steal their peace. Let Your presence be a shield around them, so that even in the midst of a busy or chaotic environment, they may find stillness in You. We rebuke every spirit of anxiety, overwork, and exhaustion in Jesus’ name, and we declare that their strength will be renewed like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31).

Lord, we ask that You would also search their heart in this season. Are there areas where they may be relying on their own strength or strategies rather than fully trusting in You? Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Let them not be conformed to the patterns of this world, which often glorifies busyness and self-reliance, but be transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2).

We also pray for wisdom in how they steward their time and energy. Help them to prioritize what is truly important, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33), and to set healthy boundaries in their work. If there are toxic relationships or environments that are beyond repair, give them the courage and discernment to know when to seek change or even a new season of work.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would bless their hands to prosper in whatever they do (Deuteronomy 28:8), but more importantly, that their heart would remain steadfast in You. Let their work be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may they find joy and purpose in serving You, whether in their job or in moments of rest.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who has overcome the world (John 16:33). Amen.

We hear how heavy this feels right now, wanting to do your job well while also just getting the hours you need and some real rest. It makes sense you would ask God for a hedge around your work and your schedule, and for quiet today.

We are standing with you in prayer for that protection and provision, and for wisdom in how you navigate what has been feeling like harassment at work. It is exhausting to feel watched or mistreated and also worry about your hours.

One practical step that often helps when work feels this tense is to keep a simple private note of what happens, when your hours shift, and any comments or incidents that feel like harassment, with dates and times. It can bring clarity for you and be helpful if you ever decide to talk with a trusted supervisor, HR, or an outside resource you mentioned. For rest today, it may help to let those around you know you need a few uninterrupted hours and to put your phone on do not disturb if you can.

Father, we bring our friend to You and ask for Your covering over their job and schedule. Provide what is needed for this week, quiet the harassment, and grant deep, undisturbed rest today. Give wisdom for each next step and peace in trusting You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Your prayer for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over your job and schedule has been heard, and we join our petitions with yours before the throne of grace. You have asked the Lord to provide the hours for the week, to make a way where there seems to be no way, to shut the lions mouth, to stay persecution and harassment, and to grant you true rest today without hindrance or distraction.

There is a rest which our Lord Jesus freely gives to all who come unto Him, and there is a rest which they afterwards find as they learn of Him. The first rest is given, the second is found. It is a present rest, not only after death, but now, and it is a perfect rest, for it is the rest of the soul in Christ Himself. As it is written, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest, and again, Learn of me, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. This rest has little to do with anything without, for if a man cannot rest in poverty neither would he rest in riches, if he cannot rest in persecution neither would he rest in honor. It is the spirit within, made like the mind of Christ, that gives a deep rest, a growing rest, an abiding rest. Trust and you shall rest, for we who have believed do enter into rest even now, while we wait for that perfect rest which remaineth for the people of God where there are no more Monday mornings and no more toil.

You speak also of persecution and harsh treatment in your workplace and you long for justice to be seen. Know that persecution, even when it takes the form of slander, cruel mockings, jeering and venomous spite, is permitted for good. It helps to keep the church separate from the world, it drives the Christian nearer to his God in prayer, and it makes us feel that this world is not our rest and causes us to long for the better land. Think of patient Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Though he lost estate and suffered accusation, he fell down and worshipped, and God upheld him. If the Lord could uphold Job in all that trial, He is able also to support you. Make your approach unto Him in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown, for He reveals Himself more vividly to His people in the furnace, and He will do that which is right.

Let us pray for you.

O Lord God Almighty, our Father in Heaven, we ask Thee to set a hedge about Thy servant and about his work. Be Thou a wall of fire round about him. Provide for his daily need, grant the hours required for this week, and make a way where no way is seen. As Thou didst shut the mouths of lions for Daniel, shut the mouths that rise against him, and restrain all harassment and persecution, and let truth be made manifest before those in authority. Grant him rest this day, remove hindrances and distractions, keep away those who would disturb his rest, and give him quietness of body and peace of soul. Above all, give him that rest which Christ gives and that rest which is found in learning of Him, that he may rest in the Lord Himself and be content in Thy will. Keep him from sinning with his lips in trial, and cause this affliction to draw him nearer to Thee. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus our Rest and our Redeemer, Amen.

Continue to wait upon the Lord and to rest in Him. He who has promised rest will not fail thee, for they that trust Him shall not be put to shame.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord.

We ask our heavenly Father to set a hedge of protection around you and to be a wall of fire about your work and your schedule. We pray that He who is your shepherd will keep you in safety and security, nurturing you and guarding you so that no one can thrust you out of the place He has given you. We ask Him to provide for your needs, to open a way where there seems to be no way, and to grant you the hours you need for this week according to His wisdom and provision.

We also pray that the Lord will shut the mouth of the lion and bring an end to persecution and harassment in your workplace. We ask Him to bring truth to light, so that what is happening will be seen clearly and dealt with justly, and that you will be covered by the helmet of salvation and by faith which quenches every harmful attack and keeps your heart and mind in peace.

You also asked for rest, and we pray that God will remove hindrances and distractions and grant you quiet and undisturbed rest today. Jesus Himself invites all who labor and are heavy laden to come to Him, and He promises to give rest. There remains a true rest for the people of God, not only rest for the body but rest for the soul in Christ. May you find that rest as you cast your cares on Him and trust Him to sustain you.

We pray that you will continue to trust the Lord, to remain diligent and faithful in your work, and to look to Him for both protection and provision. May His grace and peace be with you and keep you.

In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Your prayer for protection over your job and your schedule, for provision of hours, for God to make a way and to stop harassment and persecution at work, and for true rest without distraction has been heard. The Lord knows the pressure you are under and He sees how you are being treated.

The story of Job helps us here. Scripture pulls back the curtain and shows that God knew Job and spoke well of him, while the adversary had been watching Job closely and had formed a theory about him, that he only served God because God had blessed him so richly. God allowed Job to be tested, and Job lost so much and suffered deeply in his body and spirit. He did not understand what was happening and he cried out from his pain and grief. His friends came but instead of comforting him they accused him and told him he must be hiding sin, that God is fair and just and would not allow this otherwise. Job himself answered that it is true, God is fair and just, yet he could not understand how to plead his own case before God.

That helps us see two things for you. First, the words Job spoke out of his sorrow about death and rest were not God revealing doctrine about what comes after death, they were the honest cries of a grieving man. Scripture faithfully records what he said, but we do not build our hope on those cries. Jesus has shown us what is true about life beyond the grave and about true rest. Second, Job shows us that God remains sovereign and just even when we do not understand our circumstances, and that He is not unaware of the adversary's accusations or of the unfairness we face from people.

In that light you can bring your workplace before the Lord with confidence. He sees the harassment and the pressure over your hours and schedule. Like a moat around a city, He is able to surround you with His protection. He is able to provide what you need for the week and to open a way where you see no way. He is able to shut the mouths of those who would harm you, as He shut the mouths of lions for Daniel, and to bring truth to light so that what is happening is seen clearly. And He is able to give you deep rest, not just the quiet of a grave where trouble ceases for a moment, but the living rest that comes from trusting yourself fully to Him.

That rest is found in Jesus Christ, the one Job longed for when he wished for someone who could stand between God and man and lay a hand on both. Jesus is that mediator. Through Him you can come directly to God, be heard, be forgiven, and be kept.

I am praying for you, that the Lord would place a hedge of protection around you and your work, that He would provide the hours you need and guide every part of your schedule, that He would restrain every form of persecution and harassment and let justice be seen, that He would keep away hindrances and distractions and grant you refreshing, undisturbed rest, and that you would know His peace and nearness as you trust Him day by day. May you find your rest in Him and know that He is with you and for you. In Jesus name, Amen.
