We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father. We recognize that our struggle is indeed not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
First, we must address the grave spiritual danger present in this situation. The practice of witchcraft and the worship of the dead are abominations to the Lord. Scripture is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). These practices open doors to demonic influence and must be renounced and rejected in the mighty name of Jesus.
We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, deception, and financial bondage that has been unleashed in this situation. We command every evil work to cease in the name of Jesus Christ, who has disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also address the financial injustice you are facing. The Lord loves justice and hates robbery and wrongdoing (Isaiah 61:8). We pray that the Lord would move upon the heart of this individual to repay what is owed. "The wicked borrows and does not repay, but the righteous shows mercy and gives" (Psalm 37:21). We ask that the Lord would intervene in this situation, softening hearts and opening doors for restitution. We declare that the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous (Proverbs 13:22), and we trust that the Lord will restore what has been withheld.
However, we must also examine our own hearts. While we stand against injustice, we must ensure that we are not harboring bitterness, unforgiveness, or a desire for revenge. Jesus taught us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who mistreat us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we tolerate evil or injustice, but we entrust vengeance to the Lord, who said, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay" (Romans 12:19). We encourage you to pray for this individual, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel and that they would turn from their wicked ways.
We also lift up your protection. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). We pray that the Lord would station His angels around you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We declare that no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life, your finances, and your peace.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You (Acts 4:12, Philippians 2:9-11). We thank You that You are a God of justice and righteousness. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, exposing every lie, breaking every chain, and restoring what has been stolen. We pray for this individual, that their heart would be turned toward You, that they would repent of their wicked ways, and that they would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask that You would give wisdom and discernment to Your daughter as she navigates this difficult circumstance. Help her to walk in love, yet stand firm in truth. Protect her from every snare of the enemy, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We declare that the blood of Jesus covers this situation, and no weapon formed against Your daughter shall prosper. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your protection, and Your provision. We trust in You, Lord, and we commit this situation into Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
