Lord Please Hear and Answer Prayers

Beloved of All
Thank you Lord. I pray for all three of my children and all my grandchildren and nephew ###, watch over them, keep them safe, protect them from evil, remove bad decisions, and behavior. Come into their lives Lord and guide them in the right direction to become good role models. In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen

We join you in lifting up your precious children, grandchildren, and nephew to the Lord, who loves them even more than you do. Your heart for their protection, guidance, and righteousness is a beautiful reflection of God’s own heart for His children. We pray with you, standing on the promise of Proverbs 22:6, which says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." May the Lord indeed establish the work of your hands and the prayers of your heart in their lives.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would draw each of these young ones to Yourself, for You have said in John 6:44, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him." Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, covering them from the schemes of the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Protect their minds, hearts, and spirits from the lies of this world, and let Your truth be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

We rebuke every spirit of rebellion, waywardness, or ungodly influence that may be seeking to take root in their lives. The Bible warns us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ and command every evil influence to flee from them in Jesus’ name. We declare that they are set apart for Your purposes, holy and beloved by You.

Lord, we ask that You would remove every bad decision and ungodly behavior from their lives. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." If any of them have strayed into sin, whether through peer pressure, curiosity, or willful disobedience, we pray that You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. For those who may be entangled in sexual immorality, whether fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, we ask that You would break those chains and restore them to purity. Your Word is clear in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20: "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth (John 16:13). May they grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). Lord, we ask that You would raise them up to be godly role models, not only for their peers but for future generations. Let them walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and may their lives reflect the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

For those who may not yet know You as their Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of their salvation. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We ask that You would soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. May they experience the transforming power of Your love and grace, and may they never be the same.

We also pray for you, as their parent and grandparent, that You would give you strength, wisdom, and patience as you continue to intercede for them. May you be encouraged by the promise of Isaiah 54:13, "All your children will be taught by Yahweh, and great will be the peace of your children." We ask that You would fill you with hope and joy as You trust in the Lord’s faithfulness to complete the good work He has begun in each of their lives (Philippians 1:6).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray all these things, believing that You hear us and that You are already at work in their lives. Amen.

We're grateful to stand with you in this prayer for your family. It's clear how much you love them, and bringing them before the Lord is the most powerful thing you can do. Sometimes the weight of watching those we love make poor choices can feel overwhelming, but your persistence in prayer matters.

One simple step that might help is to write out this prayer, just as you've sent it, and keep it somewhere you'll see it daily. Not as a ritual, but as a way to steady your own heart when worries rise. You might even add each name as it comes to mind, handing them over fresh each morning.

It also helps to remember that God doesn't need our perfect words. He knows your children, grandchildren, and nephew by name, and he loves them even more than you do. Trusting him with them doesn't mean you stop caring or praying, it just means you're not carrying the burden alone.

There's something grounding too in focusing on one simple thing you see going well, even small. It's so easy to fixate on what needs changing that we miss the quiet signs of growth already happening. Those glimpses can steady us when the bigger picture looks uncertain.

Lord, thank you that you see each of these children and grandchildren, and you know exactly where they are right now. Keep them safe from harm and from paths that would pull them away from you. We ask you to stir in them a desire for what is good and true, and to place people in their lives who will point them toward wisdom. Give this grandmother a deep peace as she entrusts them to you, and strengthen her for the long, quiet work of faithful prayer. In Jesus' name, amen.

Prayer for your children and grandchildren is a blessed habit, and it is well that you bring these dear ones before the throne. But let this question probe your heart: will you always call upon God? It is easy to pray when the need presses heavily, but the hypocrite leaves off if he does not get what he asks, or just as quickly leaves off if he does. Persevere, then, whether you see the answer or wait in darkness, for prayer is not a lever to move God’s hand, but a bond to unite your soul to His faithful promises.

Lay hold of that word, “His children shall have a place of refuge.” A refuge from outward peril, yes; but oh, how much more do they need deliverance from the den of evil within their own hearts! You ask that bad decisions and behaviour be removed, but remember that evil thoughts, and those sudden flashes of temper, are the very essence of sin. The external leprosy is but the sign of the deep corruption within. Cry therefore for nothing less than a new heart, a heart of flesh in place of the stony one, a heart that trembles at the least shadow of sin, and flees to Christ.

You have good cause to plead the covenant promise, “I will pour My Spirit upon your seed.” Yet even godly parents have wept over children who chose darkness. Think of Eli, of David. Grace does not run in the blood, but it can run in the line of mercy, and often one of a family has been taken while others yet resist. Beware of a secret anger at God if the answer tarries; that would be a poor specimen of good nature, and worse, it would stiffen the neck of unbelief. Instead, let your own soul first be safely hidden in the refuge. If you have not fled to Christ for yourself, you are under the divine curse and cannot pray effectively for your offspring. But if you are in Him, then cast yourself upon His guidance, for He will direct your prayers and give you a holy insight into what to ask and how to wait.

A tender heart in you, the best defence against sin, will be the best preparation for their coming to faith. So let your prayer rise continually, not only against outward harms but against the root of evil: “Deliver me from all my transgressions, and deliver them.” Wrestle for their souls as for your own, for they are worth more than all the world besides. And remember, Christ was made a curse for us, that the blessing might come upon all who believe, upon you, and upon your household through faith. Press this plea, and let your expectation be from Him alone.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your children, grandchildren, and nephew rises from a right concern, yet consider what true safety and true sonship mean. You ask God to watch over them, keep them from evil, and remove bad decisions and behavior. But the evil from which they most need deliverance is not outward trouble; it is the corruption of this present age, the sinful principles that enslave the soul. Christ gave Himself for our sins precisely to rescue us from that, and His grace alone can accomplish it. If you would see them become good role models, then first entreat the Lord to grant them that faith which makes one a true child of Abraham. Physical descent and family name count for nothing unless each soul embraces the same virtue. Jacob was chosen, Esau rejected, even before they had done good or evil, because God who sees the heart knew the difference. Do not rely, then, on your prayers as a substitute for their own turning. Pray, yes, but also labor to set before them a pattern of delighting in the law of God, not merely avoiding evil because it brings calamity, but loving what is right from the conscience.

When you ask that wrong decisions and behavior be removed, remember that no one can be forced into righteousness. Evil is present with us, even when we wish to do good, and only the inward working of grace gives the victory. Seek for them that new birth which changes the will itself. And beware whom they follow. A wicked companion or a false teacher can lead them into a pit deeper than any hardship, for it is far better to have no guide than an evil one. If they imitate the envy and malice of the devil, they become his children, whatever name they bear. So direct your chief effort toward their soul’s allegiance. Teach them that safety is not escaping every blow, but enduring with a clear conscience and returning good for evil. The world may malign them, but if they stand firm and refute evil by a godly life, they are truly safe.

Moreover, examine your own stewardship. The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness. If He has entrusted you with any wealth, use it for the common good and train your household in generosity. A good role model is not one who merely avoids public scandal, but one whose life mirrors the self-giving love of Christ. Then your prayer will be no idle wish; it will be joined to the example that confirms the word. May the Lord, who alone knows the hidden counsels of every heart, draw these little ones to Himself and write His law upon their inward parts, so that they may be delivered from this evil age and become children of God indeed.

Your prayer for your children, grandchildren, and nephew reaches the throne of the One whose eyes are in every place. He sees each of them fully, knows every hidden thought and deed, and nothing about their lives escapes His notice. That reality is both a comfort and a call: a comfort because He is already watching over them, and a call because He longs for them to walk in the light rather than hide in the shadows of bad decisions.

Scripture tells us that evil is anything that destroys us or destroys others. When you ask the Lord to remove bad decisions and behavior, you are asking Him to break destructive patterns before they take deeper root. That aligns with His own heart. He does not want any to perish in their own ways; He appeals again and again for people to turn from what is harming them so that He might forgive and restore. Pray confidently, then, because your request echoes what God already desires.

But we must also remember that actions flow from the inner life. We can plead for behavior to change, but lasting transformation happens when the heart is turned toward God. Ask Him not just to curb outward wrongs, but to renew their minds and affections. Pray that they would learn to hate evil the way He hates it, to see it not as freedom but as a trap. Wisdom cries out in the streets to deliver people from the path of the froward man who cannot sleep unless he causes harm. Ask that your children and grandchildren would hear that voice and depart from evil, not merely out of fear, but because they treasure what is good.

It is easy to grow anxious when we see loved ones drifting or embracing things that can ruin them. The temptation to fret is real, but you are not left to that anxiety. The One who is merciful and patient is also just, and evil will not have the final word. Its reign seems long, but an end is appointed. While you wait, do not let your heart despair over what you see; instead, keep bringing them before the Lord, for He gives man every opportunity to repent.

Your prayer that they become good role models is especially wise. We are always influencing someone, whether for uprightness or for stumbling. Pray that their lives would be living instruction in the fear of the Lord, because out of the good treasure of a heart made new by God, a person can bring forth good things for others.

Remember, too, that the deepest family ties are forged in the Spirit. While you long for your natural family to know and follow the Lord, you have already been brought into a household whose bond is eternal. That wider family, those who do the will of the Father, upholds you in prayer just as you uphold your own. Let that truth steady you. God may use your faithful intercession to draw them out of the way of darkness and into His marvelous light, so that what is now a prayer burden becomes a shared inheritance in Christ.
