"Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness 🏥. 36 When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest,'” Matt 9:35-38. 🙏 Lord Jesus, You ARE The Lord of The Harvest 🌾. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and "sent out" into Your harvest -- "where You are Your servant will be also," Jn 12:26. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the ACCEPTABLE TIME is NOW, TODAY is The Day of SALVATION, 2 Cor 6:2. You care for those You died for but don't yet know YouI, "I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen (Israel). I must bring them also (Gentiles, Rom . They too will listen to My voice, and there shall be one flock and one Shepherd," John 10:16, c.f. Micah 5:2-4. Grant them all they need: knowledge of God, John 17:3, Eph 1:17, Ps 91:14, nearness, calling, intimacy with You, Eph 1:17, LOVE in OUR HEARTS, Eph 3:15-17, gracious, kind and comforting words, Zech 1:13, power to know, do, show the Word, while You get glory, Ps 115:1-2, confirming the authentic message with visible healing, signs and wonders, Mark 16:20, Acts 4:29-30, Acts 14:3, Acts 15:12, Rom 15:17-19, Heb 2:3-4, to hear and obey Your Voice, John 10:27, Rom 8:14. You have granted everything we need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, passports, visas, plane tickets, ferry, or remote boat, safe, plane rides, financial provision, accommodations, Matt 6:11, angelic protection, Ps 91:10-16, and ministerial service, open doors and favor, Heb 1:14, and the protection Jesus told us to pray for from temptation, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, sin, Ps 119:3, wrongdoing, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, and the evil one, Matt 6:13, even praying in agreement with His very prayer, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen. 📖 "We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work," John 9:4. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Blessing and UNITY on evangelist's teams, blessing on families so gospel goes forth with all openness, unhindered, Acts 28: good consciences and power under open heavens, 1 Pet 3:7. Thank You again and again and again, in Jesus' Name.

We join you in lifting up this powerful cry for the harvest fields of the world, dear brother or sister in Christ. Your heart echoes the very compassion of our Savior, who looked upon the crowds with deep tenderness and urgency. The scriptures you’ve shared reveal a profound understanding of the Father’s heart for the lost, and we stand with you in agreement, praying fervently for the workers to be raised up, equipped, and sent forth in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers remain few. We declare together that the Lord of the Harvest will thrust forth workers into every corner of the earth, into the cities, villages, and remote places where the name of Jesus has not yet been proclaimed. May He call forth evangelists, teachers, pastors, and missionaries who will go with boldness, clothed in the power of the Holy Spirit as promised in Luke 24:49. Let them not shrink back but move forward with the authority of Christ, preaching repentance and the forgiveness of sins in His name.

We pray for the lost sheep who do not yet know the Good Shepherd. Father, open their eyes to see their need for You, soften their hearts to receive Your love, and grant them the gift of faith to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. As John 10:16 declares, there is one flock and one Shepherd, bring the nations into Your fold, that they may hear Your voice and follow You. Let the knowledge of God spread like wildfire, that every knee may bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Lord, we ask for the provision of all that is needed for these workers: financial resources, safe travel, open doors, and divine favor. As You promised in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Provide for their daily bread, protect them from harm, and surround them with Your angels as Psalm 91:11 declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and may they walk in the fullness of Your protection and peace.

We also pray for unity among those who go forth. May they be of one mind and one heart, bound together by the love of Christ, so that the world may know that You sent Him (John 17:21). Let there be no division, no strife, no competition, only a holy cooperation to see Your Kingdom advanced. Bless their families, that they may support and encourage one another, and that the gospel may go forth unhindered.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and complacency that would seek to hinder the work of the harvest. We declare that the fields are white unto harvest, and the time is now. As 2 Corinthians 6:2 reminds us, "Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation." Let none perish but let all come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Empower Your servants with signs, wonders, and miracles that confirm Your Word, just as Mark 16:20 declares, "They went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the signs that followed."

We also lift up the workers who are already in the field. Strengthen them when they grow weary, encourage them when they face opposition, and refresh them when they feel alone. Remind them that their labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). May they walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, demonstrating the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Finally, Lord, we pray for ourselves. Stir our hearts to intercede daily for the lost and for those who go forth in Your name. Break any indifference or distraction that would keep us from praying, giving, or going as You lead. Help us to see the world through Your eyes and to respond with the same compassion that moved You to weep over Jerusalem. May we be faithful stewards of the gospel, sharing it with boldness and love wherever we go.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We feel the urgency in your words, that deep ache to see workers raised up and sent into fields ripe for harvest. It’s clear your heart beats in rhythm with Jesus’ own compassion for the lost, and we’re standing with you in that cry. Thank you for carrying such a holy burden and turning it into sustained prayer.

Something we often return to is that the harvest isn’t only in distant lands. The most powerful sending sometimes happens right at our own doorstep, in a neighbor who’s struggling, a coworker who’s searching, or a community need we keep passing. The early church seemed to grow most when everyday believers simply walked through open doors in their ordinary lives, full of the Spirit and attentive to people. We’ve seen God do remarkable things when someone prays, “Send workers,” and then hears a quiet nudge that they are part of the answer, not in some dramatic way, but in small, faithful conversations and acts of service.

So as you keep asking the Lord of the harvest, we pray you’ll also be strengthened by the possibility that your own hands and feet might already be positioned among the harvest fields around you. That your prayers for provision, protection, and power would land not just on faraway missionaries but on your own daily comings and goings, too. And that you’d notice the opportunities He is already giving you.

Lord Jesus, thank You for this dear friend’s heart for the lost and for laborers. Send workers into Your harvest, raise up, equip, and protect them. Open doors that only You can open, and provide all they need. Grant unity and courage to those who go, and help every believer, including us, to see the field right where we are. Let none of us miss the people You’ve already placed within arm’s reach. We ask all this in Your powerful name, Jesus. Amen.

The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few. How your heart echoes the very words of our Lord as He looked upon the multitudes, harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd. His compassion was not a mere sentiment; it moved Him to command prayer. You have laid hold of that command with great fervency, and it is right. Pray you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would thrust out laborers into His harvest. For the harvest is His, not ours, and only He can send the right men, clothed with power from on high.

You have pleaded the promises of provision, protection, and power, dear soul, and these are exactly the things the Lord delights to give. The joy of harvest is what we have a right to expect, for the farmer sows with a view to the reaping. He breaks up the hard ground, casts in the seed, and waits for the early and latter rain. So must we. None but the eternal Father can send the Holy Spirit like showers upon the church. Cry mightily for that downpour, for without it our labor is in vain. Yet when the Spirit comes, the fields which seem so barren suddenly whiten to the harvest. The acceptable time is now, today is the day of salvation. There is a fear in harvest, that the crop may be lost through delay. Night is coming when no one can work; let us not be among those who say, “There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest,” while the sheaves are rotting in the field.

You ask for workers filled with knowledge, love, and power to confirm the word with signs following. This is a petition after the apostolic pattern. We must carry out the works of Him who sent us while it is day, but it is the Lord who equips. He will give power to know, to do, to show the Word. He will go before His servants with open doors and angelic protection. Remember the joy of harvest is not only for the reaper, but for the harvested ones themselves. They too will rejoice in the day of ingathering, brought into the one flock under one Shepherd. What a thought, that the perishing millions for whom Christ died may yet join the song! Let this hope stir you to persist in prayer, and let it stir you to ask whether you yourself might be one of those sent. Who can tell but that the Lord of the harvest may be calling you to answer, “Here am I; send me.”

Lift up your eyes and look at the fields. Do not grow weary. The sowing has been in tears, but the reaping shall be in joy. His compassion is your fuel, and His command your warrant. Go on praying without ceasing, and expect the harvest. The time is short; the vintage of wrath will one day come for those who reject the gospel, but now is the day of grace. May the Lord grant such a mighty ingathering that the church is filled with a joy like the joy in harvest, which is only a foretaste of that eternal harvest home when we shall be forever with the Lord.
