Beloved of All
🌾"And Jesus was saying to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest,'" Luke 10:2. 🙏 Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out into Your harvest -- "where You are Your servant will be also," Jn 12:26. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the ACCEPTABLE TIME is NOW, TODAY is The Day of SALVATION, 2 Cor 6:2! Grant us all we need: calling, intimacy with You, LOVE in OUR HEARTS, Eph 3:15-17, power to know, do and show the Word, to hear and obey Your Voice, passports, plane tickets, financial provision, accommodations, Matt 6:11, and the protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen. 📖 "We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work," John 9:4. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Blessing and UNITY on evangelist's families so gospel goes forth with good consciences and power under open heavens, 1 Pet 3:7. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join you wholeheartedly in this urgent and biblical cry to the Lord of the harvest and we say amen to your prayer for workers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out.

We are moved by the urgency you have expressed, that agricultural readiness does not last forever and that now is the time to act. Scripture confirms this burden you carry. Jesus himself said, The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest, Matt 9:37-38, and again, The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest, Luke 10:2. We agree together that the Lord Jesus is indeed the Lord of the harvest and that He alone can thrust forth laborers into His field.

We also hold fast to the promise of power for this work, for Jesus said, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth, Acts 1:8. Without that power our efforts are in vain, but with the Holy Spirit we can seek and save the lost as our Savior did, for the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost, Luke 19:10, and we know the heart of God in this, that The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9.

We are reminded as you shared that we must work the works of him who sent us while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work, John 9:4, and that now is the acceptable time, behold, now is the day of salvation, 2 Cor 6:2. How we need love in our hearts and intimacy with Christ to hear and obey His voice, and we pray as you asked that where He is, His servants will be also, as Jesus said, If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be, John 12:26.

So we pray together now in Jesus' name. Father, in the name of Jesus we plead with You, the Lord of the harvest, to send out laborers into Your harvest. Call them, equip them, and provide for them. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them with power to know, to do and to show Your Word and to be bold witnesses. Grant them deep intimacy with You and fill their hearts with Your love, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith, Eph 3:17. We ask for Your provision for every need, for You taught us to pray, Give us today our daily bread, Matt 6:11, so we ask for passports, plane tickets, accommodations and all financial provision according to Your riches. We ask for Your protection, that You would not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, Matt 6:13, and that You would keep them from the evil one as Jesus prayed, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one, John 17:15. We lift up the families of every evangelist and laborer, that You would grant them blessing and unity and good consciences under open heavens, that the gospel may go forth in power. We ask this all in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.

We hear the urgency in your prayer and we are joining you in it. You are asking for exactly what Jesus told us to ask for, workers for His harvest, and we love how you brought both the eternal urgency and the very practical needs before the Lord, calling and intimacy with Him, love in our hearts, and also passports, provision, housing and protection.

What has encouraged us is how God so often raises up workers right where we are. An evangelist is really just an introducer, someone who says to a person feeling the pain of life, let me introduce you to Jesus. Anyone can do that, and mission can begin across the street as truly as across the world. The early believers lived this out together in homes, sharing teaching and worship, caring for one another, praying and reaching out, and that kind of fellowship gave their witness staying power. Workers are not sent to go alone but are sustained in community.

It may help to keep this plea as a daily prayer, naming places and people on your heart, and to ask the Lord to show you one person nearby this week you can simply introduce to His love through a conversation, a prayer, or a small act of care. If you have a few others who share this burden, carrying the prayer together can keep it light and steady.

Father, as Lord of the harvest we ask You to call, prepare and send laborers into Your harvest. Provide what is needed and guard them and their families from sin and the evil one. Give us love for those who are lost and power to be Your witnesses where we are and to the ends of the earth. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Thank you, brother -- heading out soon, open doors, Eph 6:18-19, in Jesus' Name.

The cry you have lifted before the Lord of the harvest is most surely according to the mind of Christ, and we join our hearts with yours in it. Our Saviour Himself said, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few, pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest. He spoke as One whose heart was moved by the multitudes, and He directs us to the very remedy you have sought in prayer.

You have done well to remember that the harvest is a matter of now or never. As we have often said, the farmer knows he cannot postpone the reaping, for the crop will spoil if left in the field. So it is with souls. Now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation, and we must work the works of Him that sent us while it is day, for the night cometh when no man can work. The fields are already white for harvest, and every church should be looking for a spiritual harvest and expecting increase from the Lord's farm.

What a mercy that He does not leave us to labour alone. We are labourers together with God, mere labourers on His farm, yet labourers with Him, and the Lord worketh with us with signs following. For this we need what you have asked, the power of the Holy Ghost come upon us, that we may be witnesses unto Him both at home and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Without that power we cannot reap, but with it even the feeblest gleaner may share in the joy of harvest.

Therefore we make your petition our own before the throne of grace. We ask the Lord of the harvest to thrust forth labourers into His harvest, to call them, to give them intimacy with Christ and love in their hearts, to grant them power to know and to do and to show the Word, and to hear and obey His voice. We ask Him to provide all things needful for the work, daily bread and open doors, provision for going forth and for dwelling, and to keep His servants and their households in unity and in a good conscience before Him, preserved from sin and protected from the evil one, abiding under open heavens where the gospel may go forth with boldness.

May the Lord grant that the harvested ones themselves may rejoice, and that we who sow in hope and even with tears may come again rejoicing, bringing our sheaves with us, to His praise. We wait upon Him for this, trusting that He who ordained the harvest will also supply the reapers, and that He will give the increase to His own glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
