Beloved of All
🌾"And Jesus was saying to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest,'" Luke 10:2. 🙏 Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out into Your harvest -- "where You are Your servant will be also," Jn 12:26. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the ACCEPTABLE TIME is NOW, TODAY is The Day of SALVATION, 2 Cor 6:2! Grant us all we need: calling, intimacy with You, LOVE in OUR HEARTS, Eph 3:15-17, power to know, do and show the Word, to hear and obey Your Voice, passports, plane tickets, financial provision, accommodations, Matt 6:11, and the protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen. 📖 "We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work," John 9:4. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Blessing and UNITY on evangelist's families so gospel goes forth with good consciences and power under open heavens, 1 Pet 3:7. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in this urgent and biblical cry to the Lord of the harvest and we say amen to this prayer. Your heart reflects the very heart of Jesus who looked on the multitudes with compassion.

We are stirred by how you have prayed the Scriptures and we agree together that the harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest, Matt 9:37-38. And again as Jesus said, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest, Luke 10:2. This is not a suggestion but a command to plead, to beg, to beseech the Lord who alone owns the field and the fruit.

We love that you have coupled the call for laborers with the promise of power, for we cannot go in our own strength. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth, Acts 1:8. Without the Holy Spirit we are only workers in the flesh, but with Him we are empowered witnesses. We also remember why we go, For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost, Luke 19:10, and that The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9.

You are right to emphasize the urgency, for agricultural readiness does not last forever and the spiritual window is now. As it is written, At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you. Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation, 2 Cor 6:2. And Jesus said, I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work, John 9:4. We must not delay or assume tomorrow will be available.

We also rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that any can be saved. There is salvation in no other name.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, the Lord of the harvest, we come before Your throne with one voice. We ask You to send out laborers into Your harvest. Call them, prepare them, equip them and send them. Grant to us and to all Your people intimacy with You, love in our hearts that comes from being rooted and grounded in Christ, and power to know and to obey Your voice and to live and proclaim Your Word with boldness. We ask for Your daily provision, for open doors, for passports and tickets and places to stay where needed, for financial supply according to Your riches, and for protection from sin and deliverance from the evil one, as You promised to keep us from evil, John 17:15. Let Your servants follow where You are, for You said If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be, John 12:26. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon every witness, and bring blessing and unity to the families of those who go, that the gospel may go forth with clear consciences and with power under open heavens. Let repentance be preached and let many be saved today, for today is the day of salvation. Use even us, Lord, right where we are, in our Jerusalem and to the ends of the earth. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.

We are moved by your urgent heart for the lost and for workers to go. The way you pray for calling, provision, protection and unity shows deep love for both the harvest and those sent.

We join you in asking the Lord of the harvest to raise up laborers. What encourages us is how God so often does this through ordinary believers gathered together. The early church met in homes to learn, worship, share meals, pray and pool resources, and that simple fellowship of love carried the gospel outward. In the same way today, small groups of two or three who pray and care for one another become a place where callings are clarified and courage grows.

An evangelist is at heart simply an introducer, someone who says come meet Jesus, and a missionary can begin across the street as well as across an ocean. You do not have to wait for a large program to take part.

One next step that may encourage you is to invite a couple of trusted believers to pray regularly with you specifically for laborers by name and for open doors where you live, and to stay connected with your local church's mission leadership so needs for passports, provision and protection can be shared and carried together.

Father, we lift this harvest burden to you in Jesus' name. Call, equip and send workers where you are already at work, provide what they need day by day, guard them and their families from sin and the evil one, and keep them united in love so the good news goes forth with clear consciences and open heavens. Amen.

There is a holy urgency in your prayer which is altogether after the mind of Christ, and we join our hearts with yours before the Lord of the harvest.

Our Saviour Himself has told us how the case stands, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few, pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest. You have done well to take Him at His word and to plead with Him who alone can thrust out laborers into His own field. The harvest is not ours but His, and if the sheaves spoil it is His harvest that perishes, therefore He will hear the cry of those who long to see it gathered.

You speak rightly that the time is now. The fields are already white for harvest, and the reaping is a matter of now or never. As it is written, now is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation, and we must work the works of Him that sent us while it is day, for the night cometh when no man can work. Some churches forget that an increase is expected from every field of the Lord's farm and never look for a harvest, but you are looking for it and praying for it as a sower who sows with a view to harvest. May the Lord grant that faith which rests upon His Word, that we may know the joy of harvest, which is a joy that respects former toil and travail in prayer.

We pray with you that the Lord will call, prepare and send forth many laborers, and that He will clothe them with power when the Holy Spirit is come upon them, that they may be witnesses unto Jesus in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth. We are but poor fellows at best, yet this is our high privilege, that we are laborers together with God, and the Lord worketh with them with signs following. May He give to those who go forth a true love in their hearts, power to know and to do and to show the Word, and grace to hear and obey His voice.

We ask also for what you have asked, for open doors and daily provision, for passports and places to lodge, for all that is needful for the body as well as the soul, and for that keeping which our Lord desired when He prayed not that we should be taken out of the world but kept from the evil one, and delivered from sin and from the evil one. May the Lord bless and keep the households of those who labour in the gospel, granting unity and a good conscience and power under open heavens, that the Word may run and be glorified.

May the Lord of the harvest answer this prayer abundantly, and may we live to see with joy the harvested ones rejoicing as they are gathered home, to the praise of His grace in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is good and faithful, for it repeats the very words and compassion of the Lord Himself. When He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion because they were troubled and scattered as sheep having no shepherd, and He said, the harvest truly is plentiful but the laborers are few, pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

You have prayed as He commanded, and this is the right order. You noted that the Lord did not at once add to the number of the twelve, but He made those twelve to be many by giving them power. So we should not only ask for more numbers, but for power from on high to make the few sufficient for the great harvest. For the harvest is not gathered by human strength alone.

This is what was shown at Pentecost. The feast was the time when the sickle was put to the harvest and the ingathering was made, and so the Spirit came down as a keen edged sickle of the word. He came suddenly from heaven with a sound like a rushing mighty wind and tongues like fire sat upon each one, showing that the gift was settled and remaining. As the Spirit came in the form of a dove upon Christ alone, so He came as fire upon the multitude, because a whole multitude was to be brought to faith. Therefore when you pray for Holy Spirit power according to Acts 1:8, you pray for the true sickle that reaps the white fields.

You are right to feel the urgency. Scripture says the fields are already white to harvest and also that night is coming when no one can work. The acceptable time is now, today is the day of salvation, and the readiness of the crop does not last forever. For this reason we must do the works of Him who sent us while it is day.

So we join you and pray to the Lord of the harvest, who is Jesus Himself:

Lord Jesus, Lord of the harvest, hear this prayer. Call laborers, prepare them, and send them out where You are, that Your servants may be with You. Give them intimacy with You and love in their hearts, that they may know Your word and have power to do it and to show it and to hear and obey Your voice. Grant what is needed for the journey, daily bread, passports and tickets, housing and financial provision, not for excess or wantonness but for health and for the work, and keep them from sin and from the evil one. Let Your protection rest upon them and upon their families, grant unity and a good conscience and open heavens over their homes, so that the gospel may go forth with power from Jerusalem to Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. We ask this in Your name, Jesus, Amen.
