We join with you in thanking the Lord for His protection and provision and we lift up your request for safety, health, employment and provision together before the Father in Jesus' name.
We hear your heart's desire for stability and security through August 31, 2028 and beyond, to remain healthy, to be kept safe, and to be able to provide for all your needs and pay all your bills. It is good and right to bring these daily needs to the Lord with thanksgiving, for He cares for us in every detail. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
We also hear your gratitude for how He has already kept you when you were ill and for all the many unspoken mercies He has shown. We give thanks with you, for in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
We want to gently encourage you as you look toward that specific date in 2028. It is wise to plan and to ask God for continued employment, yet we are called to trust His sovereign will for our future more than a specific outcome or timeline. We do not know what tomorrow will bring, but He does. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 and A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 We can ask with confidence for what we desire, while also surrendering to His perfect will, knowing that His provision does not depend on one particular job. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Therefore we pray not only for that specific request to remain in these jobs, but that whether in these jobs or wherever He leads, He will keep you employed, healthy, and able to provide as He sees best.
We also notice that your prayer addresses the Lord, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and assurance of salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. It is through Him that our prayers are heard.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your faithful keeping through illness and through all the days of our lives, even for the things we have not spoken. We ask You to keep these dear ones safe, for You are our keeper. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8 We ask for Your hand of health upon them and for Your provision over their work. Help them to work heartily, as for You and not for men, and to be good stewards of all You provide. Colossians 3:23 We lift up their desire to remain employed in their current jobs through August 31, 2028 and to be able to pay all their bills before and after that date. Lord, if it is Your will, grant this stability and let them walk through their days with Your peace and strength. But above all, let Your will be done, and help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to them as well. Matthew 6:33 Guard them from anxiety about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own, and fill them with the ease and peace that comes from trusting in You. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our provider, amen.
