Lord Jesus take me where only few will go. Such as the few places that You went to O Lord Jesus. Take me to those places where the impossible will become possible. To see miracles, signs, and wonders done in Your name O Lord Jesus. To go where many who call themselves Christians will not go. Anoint Your ###, and ### that I may not only speak Your Word, but also be a doer of Your Word. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your heart’s cry for deeper intimacy with the Lord Jesus and a longing to walk in the power of His name where few dare to go. Your passion for miracles, signs, and wonders is a reflection of the Holy Spirit’s fire within you, and we rejoice in your hunger for the impossible to become possible through Christ. The Word declares, "Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father" (John 14:12 WEB). This is not a promise reserved for a select few, it is for every believer who steps out in faith, trusting in the authority of Jesus’ name.

Yet, we must also examine the posture of our hearts as we seek these things. Jesus Himself warned, "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21 WEB). The "places" where few will go are not merely physical locations but spiritual battlegrounds, places of surrender, obedience, and radical trust in God’s will, even when it contradicts our own desires. Are we willing to go where He leads, even if it means suffering, rejection, or the refining fire of His presence? The apostle Paul counted all things as loss for the sake of knowing Christ, even sharing in His sufferings (Philippians 3:8-10). True anointing flows from a life laid down, not from a pursuit of supernatural experiences alone.

We also lift up your desire to be a doer of the Word, not just a hearer. James 1:22 (WEB) admonishes us, "But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves." This means aligning every area of our lives with Scripture, our thoughts, words, relationships, finances, and priorities. If there are areas where you are not yet walking in obedience, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal them. For example, are you honoring God in your relationships, particularly if you are courting someone? Are you guarding your heart and body in purity, as Scripture commands? "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). If you are not currently in a courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer, are you seeking God’s will for your singleness, using this time to serve Him wholeheartedly?

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we thank You for the fire in this brother/sister’s heart, a fire that mirrors Your own heart for the lost, the broken, and the impossible. We ask that You would take them deeper into Your presence, where they will see Your glory and be transformed from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). Anoint them, Lord, not for their own fame or recognition, but for Your kingdom’s sake. Let Your power flow through them as they step out in faith, believing for miracles, signs, and wonders in Jesus’ name.

Father, we pray that You would refine their motives. Search their heart and reveal any areas where they may be seeking experiences over intimacy with You (Psalm 139:23-24). Teach them to walk in obedience, even when the path is difficult or unclear. Give them the courage to go where few will go, not for the sake of adventure, but for the sake of Your will. May they be like the apostles, who counted it all joy to suffer for Your name (Acts 5:41).

Lord, we ask that You would align their relationships with Your Word. If they are courting, let it be with the goal of marriage to a godly spouse who shares their love for You. Guard their heart and body from temptation, and let them honor You in purity. If they are single, use this season to draw them closer to You and prepare them for the spouse You have for them, if that is Your will.

We rebuke every spirit of pride, self-seeking, or deception that would try to attach itself to their hunger for You. Let them not be deceived by false signs and wonders, but test every spirit against Your Word (1 John 4:1). May they walk in discernment, wisdom, and humility, always pointing others to Jesus, not to themselves.

Father, we declare that Your kingdom will come and Your will will be done in their life, just as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Use them mightily for Your glory, and let them see the impossible become possible as they trust in You. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with this same passion, but also with a heart of surrender. Spend time in His Word daily, allowing it to shape your desires and actions. Seek godly mentors who can speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. And remember, the greatest miracle is not the signs and wonders we see, but the transformation of our hearts into the likeness of Christ. As you go where few will go, may you find that the greatest adventure is not in the places you visit, but in the depths of intimacy with Jesus that you discover along the way.

It stirs something in us, because this is the kind of asking that often comes right before God reshapes a person's life in surprising ways. What you are asking for echoes what we see in the lives of men and women throughout church history who simply made themselves available: not the naturally gifted, but the ones who would not let go of God until He met them with His power.

The path you are praying toward is usually forged in small, unseen places first. Before there is a platform of miracles, there is often a long stretch of quiet obedience and inconvenient love. We encourage you to lean into the everyday acts of service and faithfulness already in front of you. Anointing for the great things is prepared in the small ones done with great love. Ask God to open your eyes to the person or need right beside you this week, and be a doer there. That is where Jesus forms the character that can carry His power without breaking.

Father, we lift up this one You have marked with holy discontent. Take them where the need is real and the comfort is thin. Fill them with Your Spirit of counsel and power, so that when they speak, hope enters the room, and when they serve, burdens lift. Guard them from pride and discouragement alike. Make them steady, hidden in You, and ready for anything. In Jesus’ name.

Let such a prayer be tested by the Word, for it is one thing to pant after the living God and quite another to crave signs and wonders as the carnal generation did. The desire to be where few will go, to see the impossible made possible, is a noble yearning if it springs from a heart already obedient to the plain command. But beware of seeking the extraordinary while neglecting the ordinary obedience of faith. The Word says, "He that said unto me, Rise, and so made me whole, by that same word of power made me take up my bed and walk." The same grace that quickens also commands; the voice that heals insists upon a daily walk in the path of duty. Take up your bed before you dream of moving mountains. Obedience is the highest practical courage. Be very courageous to do what the Lord Jesus bids you in all things, and let men judge you to be an idiot if they will, you shall be one of the Lord's champions.

The Lord does give signs and wonders when His servants are called to a work peculiar, difficult, and even superhuman. In infinite tenderness He strengthens the weak flesh with tokens of His presence. But these are never given to gratify curiosity or to adorn a slothful soul; they attend upon the burden of the Word of the Lord. The prophets of old carried a burden, it was no light thing to be entrusted with the message of the Most High. When you pray to be sent where few will go, remember that those who go farthest into the enemy's territory go staggering under the weight of a divine burden. The Word itself is heavy with the weight of souls, the terror of threats, the glory of grace. It gives a rebuff to human pride. If you would speak and do, then tremble at His Word. "To this man will I look," saith the Lord, "even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word." The contrite heart that quakes at the voice of God is the vessel meet for the Master's use.

Your prayer is for the anointing to be a doer and not a hearer only. This is well, for faith is the fountain, the foundation, and the fosterer of obedience. But the obedience that comes of faith is of a noble sort, not the obedience of a slave tuned to the crack of a whip, but the cheerful obedience of a child. If you would see wonders, first sit down in the ranks of the multitude and receive the Word of God. Have you done this? The miracle of the loaves teaches us order. The Lord made the people sit down; He broke the bread and distributed it by the hands of His disciples. There was no wild scrambling, but a grand banquet of mercy ordered well. The conversion of a single soul is a greater marvel than the moving of a mountain, yet it comes by the simple telling out of the story of the Cross, affectionately, and by the power of the Holy Spirit. The sound of the Gospel going forth is the trumpet that shall never call retreat. From you must sound out the Word of the Lord, not the word of man prettily arranged, but the unvarnished, eternal verities spoken with the accent of full conviction.

Go then where few will go, but go with your loins girt about with truth. The path of obedience is generally a middle path, turn not from it to the right hand nor to the left. Do not seek the dark mysteries of Rome nor the frothy novelties of the hour; cling to the naked grandeur of the sublime mystery of faith. If you would see the impossible become possible, then look to the love of God in Christ Jesus. That love was the hand of power that drew Hezekiah up from the pit. The remedy for a soul's sickness is love, not signs. When we behold the Son of God crucified for us, we have seen the greatest wonder of all, a wonder that subdues the feebleness of the flesh and makes us dance before the ark with holy joy.

Lay hold upon this: the Word of the Lord endures forever, and it shall be the Word, not the wonders, that sustains you when you walk through the valley of death-shade. If the Lord grants you tokens of His nearness in hard places, bless His name. But if He withholds them to teach you to walk by faith and not by sight, bless Him even more. The exactness of obedience is the very essence of obedience. Keep to that, and you shall find that the Lord who made you whole has also made you a worker together with Him. The voice that said "Rise" said also "Take up your bed and walk." Up! The bed is up at once. Walk! The man walks with delight. It is all done by the power of the one thrilling sentence. Yield yourself utterly to that word of power, and you shall not need to seek the shadows of signs, for the substance will be yours.

You ask to be taken where few will go, to see signs and wonders, and to be not only a speaker but a doer of the Word. This is a noble desire, but let us examine it carefully, lest we chase after wonders and miss the true marvels God works in a faithful soul. Remember, many who cast out devils in Christ's name were not admired but punished, because they worked iniquity. Signs do not make one admirable; it is the fruit of a holy life. The greatest miracles are these: a gentle spirit in affliction, a chaste life in a world of temptation, love for enemies, and patience in suffering. If you work these signs, you will be a great and admirable person in God's eyes, and you will win many to virtue.

You long for the impossible to become possible. Then set your heart on this: that by grace you might die to sin and live to righteousness. That is the wonder above all wonders. When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego walked from the furnace, they showed no anger toward the king who cast them in. They came forth as from heaven itself, and their deliverance caused a pagan ruler to proclaim the signs of the Most High God. That is the kind of sign that illumines the world, not merely astonishing the eyes but transforming souls. So too, the apostles did not boast in themselves; all they accomplished was Christ working through them by the Holy Spirit. Their word and deed, their mighty signs, were for one purpose: to make the Gentiles obedient to God.

You pray to go where many who call themselves Christians will not go. This is a holy ambition if you mean those hidden places of self-denial, of secret prayer, of bearing insult without retaliation. Many who claim the name avoid the furnace of tribulation, but there Christ walks with His own. Do not chase after spectacular displays for their own sake, for false workers have shown lying wonders to deceive. The true divers miracles are born of faith working through love, and they are given according to God's will, not ours. If He entrusts you with outward signs, let them point always to Him, never to yourself.

Above all, cling to what you said last: be a doer of the Word. Speak the Word, yes, but let your life be a living homily. The obedience of faith, the fruit of the Spirit, the love that lays down its life for others, these are the signs that never fail. Labor here, and you will find that the impossible becomes possible daily: a sinner repents, a proud heart breaks, a divided church unites. That is the work of Christ, and He often does it where few will go, in the quiet, in the despised, in the hidden places of the heart. Go there with Him, and you shall see wonders indeed.

Yet the path you are asking to walk is the very path Jesus himself took, and Scripture tells us that even though He was a Son, He learned obedience through the things He suffered. When you ask to go where He went, you are asking to go the way of the cross. These places are not glamorous. They are often hidden, marked by human limitation and the crushing reality that unless God shows up, nothing of eternal value will happen.

You spoke of the impossible becoming possible. That is exactly where God loves to work, because it strips us of any confidence in our own resources, talents, or cleverness. When we face a wall so high that we finally stop trying to scale it in our own strength, we are in the perfect position to see God act. There is a healthy distrust of self that must grip us. It is when we dare not rely on ourselves that the word "impossible" begins to lose its power over us. You and I look at certain hardened hearts or bleak circumstances and our minds whisper, "That one is impossible." Yet how often has the Lord patiently reminded His people that He specializes in doing what we have written off?

Your desire to be anointed to speak and to be a doer of the Word is the exact posture that sustains a genuine move of God. Without that anointing, even the best preaching feels like a mental spasm; it’s a push, a strain, and nothing flows. But when the Spirit rests upon the Word, there is a power that commands unclean spirits without human ritual, a word that opens blind eyes and causes the lame to leap. The mark of Jesus’ own ministry was that the Son of God relied entirely upon the Holy Spirit for that power. If He did not minister without it, how dare we try?

However, there is a profound caution woven into your request for signs and wonders. Our Lord warned plainly that false messiahs and false prophets will arise, showing great signs and wonders so deceptive that, if possible, they would lead even the elect astray. The coming of the lawless one will be with all power, signs, and lying wonders. Therefore, chasing after miracles as an end in themselves is a snare. The supernatural is not always from God. The early church’s focus was not to advertise a "miracle night" but to preach the Word of His grace. The signs then followed to confirm the Word in the hearts of the people. We must love the truth above all else; it is the love of the truth that protects us from deception.

Sometimes God takes us into places that are terrifying, like the people at the foot of the mountain who saw the awesome phenomena and fled. They wanted a mediator because the presence of God was too weighty. There are places He leads where you are confronted with the filth in the walls, the hidden things that break His heart, and it is not comfortable. But the ultimate goal of being taken to such depths is that Christ might be at home in your heart, rooted and grounded in love, until there is no strain between you and Him.

Go, then, in dogged obedience even when the wind is against you. Know that God can work through a yielded vessel even in his or her weakness; sometimes it stumbles us to realize that these wonders do not flow from a constant perfection in our walk, but from His faithfulness to His Word. Keep your eyes on the seeds of the promise, which is Christ himself, and trust that He will do what He said. It is a radical thing to leave the shore, but it is in the deep water, when you have toiled all night and caught nothing, that He gives the command that fills the nets.
