Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for giving thanks even while you are still waiting for complete deliverance and healing. I join you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ, who came not to judge the world but to save it, and through whom alone salvation is found.

I pray with you for the strong protection you have asked for over yourself and your family. May the Lord be your shield and refuge according to Psalm 91 and Psalm 34, and may He guard you from evil as we are taught to pray in 2 Thessalonians 3. I pray also for what you have rightly put first, the salvation of your whole household. The arm of the Lord is not too short to save, and His desire is that all would be saved through faith in Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and reconciles us to the Father. I ask Him to pour His love into your hearts by the Holy Spirit according to Romans 5:5, to give you new hearts and renewed minds, to restore your souls as Psalm 23 says, and to bring forth the fruit of the Spirit in love, peace and joy as you walk with Him.

Scripture reminds us that hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation, but hearing must be joined to doing, to patient endurance, to fortitude and to turning from worldly things. In your long season of pain and attacks, I pray that your suffering, endured with patience in Christ, would work in you comfort and steadfast hope, knowing that as you share in the sufferings of Christ you also share in His comfort. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation, and the Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. Continue to trust Him and not lean on your own understanding, keeping His word in careful remembrance and in practice at home and abroad.

Concerning the relationships and family members you lifted up, I pray for the Lord's mercy, healing and holy guidance over each one. I do not ask God to bless any relationship that is outside His good design, but I do ask Him to bring every relationship in your family under the lordship of Jesus and into conformity with His will. For marriage, that design is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and for all people His call is to purity and holiness with sexual intimacy reserved for within that covenant. Where there has been hurt, dysfunction or confusion, I pray for conviction where needed, for repentance and forgiveness, for healing of wounds, for wisdom to walk in purity, and for the Lord either to make relationships holy and whole according to His design or to bring gracious separation and peace. I pray for your children and loved ones in school, that God would give them favor, understanding, confidence in Him, and protection from harmful influences, and that He would guide teachers and friends toward what is good.

I also bring before the Lord your practical burdens for sleep, work, new responsibilities, vacation, studies and homework, and the conflicts where you have felt overlooked or where words were spoken in frustration. May He forgive as you confess, give you grace to do better, bring reconciliation where it is possible, and comfort those who are hurting. I ask Him to confront what is not of Him and to encourage greatly those who need encouragement.

I join you in thanking God for what He has already done and for answered prayers, and I pray with you for your prayer gatherings including this Friday evening, for your devotions and for the sermon. May the Lord anoint, protect and guide your prayer ministry, draw hearts to pray together, and empower the preaching of His word so that Christ is clearly proclaimed and many are brought to salvation. May He direct you in all things and give you supernatural trust, strength and breakthrough, restoring what feels hopelessly broken as only He can in Joel 2:25, breaking every curse through the cross of Christ according to Galatians 3 and turning it into blessing.

May the Lord be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives, and may you be kept in His peace as you wait on Him. I pray all this in the holy and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.

Thank you for pouring out your heart so honestly before the Lord and for trusting us to pray with you. Your love for your family, your hunger for their salvation and healing, and your desire to trust God even while you are still in pain and under attack is heard by Him. He knows how difficult and painful things have been and still are, and He invites you to cast all of that on Him and not lean on your own understanding.

We join you in thanking God for all He has already done. Holding onto thanksgiving while you are still waiting for complete deliverance and healing is a powerful act of faith, and we pray He will keep your eyes on what He has already answered so that discouragement does not hide His goodness.

We pray with you for protection. The Scriptures you have clung to are true. God is your shield and your refuge, He encamps around those who fear Him, He is a wall of fire around His people, no weapon formed against you will finally prosper, and His angels watch over His own. We ask the Lord Jesus to cover you and your whole family under His blood and to keep you in His care, and to deliver you from evil as He has promised to guard His children.

We pray for salvation for every member of your family. His arm is not too short to save, and His promise stands that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, and that when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ we will be saved. We ask Him to draw each one to Himself, to grant repentance and faith, and to pour His love into your hearts by the Holy Spirit, giving you new hearts and new minds that bear the fruit of love, joy, peace and all the grace of His Spirit as He promised to cleanse and renew us and to restore our souls.

We pray for healing and deliverance and restoration. We believe strongly that God heals, and that He heals in many ways. Sometimes His healing is immediate and felt in a moment, and sometimes it is gradual. There is one account in the Gospels where Jesus laid His hands on a blind man and the man saw only partially at first and then fully after Jesus touched him again. That reminds us that God often works through a process, and the slow, natural processes of healing in our bodies are still His work, for He created those processes. He also heals the wounds of the mind and heart, the scars and memories that abuse and long struggle leave behind. We ask Him to touch every area of sickness and hurt in your family according to Isaiah 53, where it says He bore our sicknesses and infirmities as well as our sins, and His body was broken for us. That truth is shown in the bread of communion, and Matthew applies that prophecy to the physical healings Jesus did when He healed the leper, the servant of the centurion, Peter's mother in law, and the multitudes who were brought to Him in the evening. He has power in every realm, over bodies and over evil spirits, and He went about doing good and healing.

At the same time we do not presume that God wills instant healing in every case in this life. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed, and God did not remove it but gave him grace. We do not understand why some are healed quickly and others wait or are healed in eternity, and it is wrong to say that continued sickness must mean there is hidden sin or not enough faith. Much of our struggle to believe comes from living in a very materialistic culture. We also want to be discerning, because there is much fakery and emotional manipulation done today in the name of healing that is not of God. We simply come humbly and ask the Lord who is able to heal today, to have mercy and to do what is best according to His wisdom and love, whether through a sudden touch or through the gradual work He has built into our bodies and minds.

We pray for reconciliation and unity in your family. Years of sin and hurt can tear down a life, a body, and a home, but the work of Christ is restoration. He restores what seems hopelessly broken and restores the years that have been eaten away. We ask Him to break every curse, for Christ became a curse for us on the cross to redeem us, and to turn what was meant for harm into blessing. We also know that when one person comes to faith, it can create alienation in a family, and that the bond we have in Christ can become deeper than even blood ties. We pray that God will make your family one in Him, and that He will surround you with the love and fellowship of His people to strengthen you.

We bring before Him all the specific burdens you named. For school and teachers and homework, we ask for supernatural help, understanding, confidence that is rooted in Him, and favor. For sleep, for work and new responsibilities, for daily needs and for times of rest, we ask for His guidance and provision and success as you depend on Him. For the conflicts, for words spoken in frustration, for venting about others, for fear, and for feeling overlooked, we ask for His forgiveness where needed, for His conviction and comfort, and for grace to do better. He is merciful to forgive and to teach us His way.

Concerning relationships in your family, we pray for the Lord to intervene with holiness and clarity. We do not ask God to bless any relationship that is outside His design, for we hold to His historic and good pattern that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that intimacy belongs only within that covenant. Where relationships are dysfunctional, harmful, or not honoring to Him, we ask Him to stop what is not of Him, to rebuke what is behind it, to heal deep wounds, to bring deliverance, and to lead each person into purity, wisdom, and wholeness. Where He intends a relationship to grow, we ask Him to make it healthy and Christ centered. Above all we ask for His will to be done and for each person to be made whole in Him first.

We pray for your devotional life and for your times of prayer together and for your ministry of prayer. The early church continually brought the sick to the apostles and the elders prayed for them, and prayer was central to their life. We ask God to protect, anoint, and guide you as you gather to pray, to pour out His Spirit upon you, and to draw others to pray with you. We pray for your preaching, that God will anoint your words, give you wisdom in all the preparation, help you to speak clearly the gospel of the kingdom, and use it for salvation and encouragement, and that He will respond to all adversity with kindness and love.

May the Lord give you supernatural trust and the faith that comes from Him, encourage you greatly, and bring the breakthrough you long for. May He restore your soul, keep you from losing heart, and be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives.
