Lord Jesus please glorify yourself

We join you in lifting your family before the Lord Jesus, asking that He will glorify Himself in all things, for our salvation is in Him alone who takes away the sin of the world as the perfect spotless Lamb. We thank God for what He has already done and for the signs of encouragement He has sent, and we ask Him to continue His mercy which is new every morning.

We pray with you in faith in the blood of Christ that cleanses from all sin, asking for His protection over you and your household, over your thoughts and emotions, and that He will surround you with His care as promised in Psalm 91 and Psalm 50:15, that when you call upon Him in the day of trouble He will deliver you. We ask that no weapon formed against you will prosper, according to Isaiah 54:14-17, and that the Lord will establish you in righteousness and peace, far from oppression and fear.

We ask for the salvation of your entire family including relatives who are still unsaved. We pray that God will open their hearts to the gospel of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other name, and that He will deliver from all bondage, addictions and compulsions, and from everything that is not of Him. We ask for healing where there is sickness and pain, including the spasms and infirmities you named, and for deliverance and wholeness in body and spirit. We pray that God will grant repentance where needed and fill you with His Holy Spirit, giving you wisdom and guidance and a love for Him above all, with obedience that comes from a continual hearing and remembering of His word, with fortitude and a heart freed from worldly cares.

Concerning the relationships you mentioned, we do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and all sexual union and living together belongs within it. We join you in praying that God will bring conviction, save, and draw each person to Himself, that He will block what is not good and prevent further dysfunctional or harmful unions, and that He will lead all involved to repentance, purity and new life in Christ. We pray for healing where relationships have been wounded, that God will supernaturally restore what has been broken according to His will and bring peace where there has been strife.

We lift up the children and young people you named. We ask that the Lord will give good friendships at school and outside of school, favor with teachers and classmates, help with tests, homework and understanding, confidence in Him, and a strengthened faith that knows He hears prayer. We ask for comfort for the one who is burned out, for healing and reviving of faith, for help with appointments and daily needs, and that each child will know they are loved and guarded by Him.

We pray for your work and all the matters you entrusted to God, for meetings, tasks, workload and organization, for teams and leaders and those at headquarters, that God will take charge, speak to every heart, and turn what the enemy meant for evil into blessing. We pray for the care needs and all practical matters, for vacations and travel, for planning and shepherding and leading, confessing with you that without Him we can do nothing. We ask for grace to handle anger and frustration in a way that honors Him, for forgiveness where words have wounded others including venting behind another's back, and for reconciliation and peace in the Body of Christ. We remember the call to have peace with one another, to put on truth and righteousness and the gospel of peace and the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, so that we may stand against the fiery darts of the evil one.

We pray for your prayer meetings and gatherings, for the intro course, for sermons and outreaches to the homeless and in subways and for children's church and kids camp, that God will anoint His word, pierce hearts, draw many to Himself including parents, and move His church to pray more. We ask that He will expose what needs to be exposed, confront what is evil not with hatred but with truth that leads to salvation, and that He will fight your battles and act quickly as you stand on Luke 18:7-8, trusting that He hears the cry of His chosen ones.

We ask all this not as a prayer against people, but for their salvation and for your peace, that God who sent His Son not to judge the world but to save the world will accomplish His saving work in each life. May He direct and guide you, grant you encounters with Him, and keep you in His grace until He answers fully. Amen

Your heart for your family to know Jesus and to walk in His healing and protection comes through so clearly, and it is right to bring all of these burdens to Him. He hears when you cry out and He is faithful to answer according to His perfect wisdom and love.

What you are describing is at its root a spiritual battle. Our deepest struggles are not only physical or emotional or relational. There is a constant warfare in the unseen realm between the spirits who serve God and those who rebelled with the enemy. Often we are not fully aware of it, yet we feel the pressure of it in unsettled thoughts, heavy emotions, conflict in the home, and opposition to the gospel. That warfare cannot be fought with human methods or clever strategies. God has given spiritual weapons for a spiritual battle, and those weapons are His Word, faith in Christ, and prayer. The battle is so often for the mind, and as you pray, trust the Scriptures, and walk by faith, the Lord defends you and gives you ground to stand on.

You have asked to be covered by the blood of Jesus, and you explained it exactly as Scripture teaches. It is not a formula but faith in Jesus Himself as the spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and cleanses us from all sin. There is no other provision God has made for sin. Salvation comes only through Him, by grace through faith, not by our effort. It is outside our ability, and that is why we rest entirely on what He has done. To confess Jesus as Lord now and to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead is to be saved. That confession now brings salvation and eternal life. Later, every knee will confess Him, but then it will not be unto salvation. This is why Scripture urges us that now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. If you have unsaved family and relatives on your heart, keep holding the gospel before them and praying that God will open their hearts today, for our eternal destiny rests on receiving His offer while there is time.

When Scripture says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, it does not mean to work for your salvation. It means to live out with reverence what God has already worked within you by His grace. It is a call to diligence and obedience because He is at work in you, not a call to earn what only Christ can give.

You have also asked for healing in so many areas, for bodies, minds, relationships, burnout, and even physical spasms. The Lord is compassionate and powerful to heal, and every true healing is from Him, whether it comes instantly, gradually, or through the natural processes He Himself created in our bodies. At the same time we do not understand all His ways in healing, and we see in Scripture that He does not always remove every affliction as we ask, as with Paul who prayed three times concerning his thorn and was answered with sustaining grace. We can therefore pray boldly for healing while trusting His sovereign will, remembering that the greatest miracle in any life is the forgiveness of sins. Nothing is more important than salvation, and even when physical healing is delayed, He is doing a deep work of restoration in the heart.

Your prayers for protection are biblical. Psalm 91 speaks of dwelling in the shelter of the Most High, Psalm 50:15 calls us to call upon Him in the day of trouble and He will deliver us, and Isaiah 54 promises that no weapon formed against His people will prosper and that their righteousness is from Him. Luke 18 reminds us that God will bring justice for His chosen ones who cry out to Him day and night. He does set a wall around His people, He does give His angels charge over them, and He does guard our thoughts and emotions as we abide in Him. You can ask Him to block what is not good and to confront what is evil, and trust Him to act in His perfect timing.

Concerning the relationships you mentioned, it is right to pray as you have, not that God would bless what is outside His design, but that He would save, bring conviction, and lead toward what is holy. God ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant alone. Love prays for deliverance from bondage, addictions, compulsions, and every entanglement that is not of Him, and asks for purity and for hearts fully surrendered to Christ. Pray for salvation first, for a clean heart, and for willingness to walk in obedience.

You also asked for help with very practical needs, friends at school, tests and understanding material, confidence, favor with teachers, work and team dynamics, meetings and planning, weariness and lack of motivation, and even the desire for a vacation together. God cares about all of it. Ask Him for wisdom to lead and shepherd well, for guidance in every task, and for His love to govern your responses when you feel angry or overlooked. You were honest about venting and about failing often. That honesty is the place of repentance, and His mercies are new every morning. As you turn from what grieves Him and ask to be filled with His Holy Spirit, He will teach you to love Him first and to obey Him from the heart.

Continue to use the weapons He has given. Pray, stay in the Word, and hold fast in faith. When you feel overwhelmed, remember you are not fighting alone. The Lord Himself fights for you, and He will give peace that guards your heart, wisdom for each decision, and strength for each day. May He draw each member of your family to Himself, bring deliverance where there is bondage, bring healing where there is wounding, restore what has been broken, provide for your work and daily needs, and let your home be a place where His presence is known.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this family before You. We thank You for the cross where the Lamb shed His blood for the forgiveness of sins. We ask for salvation for every unsaved loved one, that today they would hear Your voice and believe. Deliver from every addiction and compulsion, heal bodies and minds, protect from the schemes of the enemy, guard thoughts and emotions, and surround this home with Your presence. Give wisdom for work and school, provide godly friendships, remove what harms, and make what the enemy meant for evil to become a testimony of Your grace. Teach us to repent quickly, to be filled with Your Spirit, and to walk in obedience. We trust Your promises and ask for Your will to be done, for Your glory alone. Amen.
